  1. Got the caseback off - thanks Freddy, but now I can't seem to pop the bezel off of the case. Searched around for some options, but none have worked so far. Anyone have a good trick for this?
  2. I think the problem with the Bergeon tool is that the case back teeth are not correct. I can feel it slipping around a lot, where as on my 1680 or 1655 the tool fits absolutely perfect on the case backs. I will try heating it a little bit and see if that helps. @TeeJay - yes, I forgot to mention that I did try dish washing gloves too - no go Thanks!
  3. Hi folks, I have a noobmariner with a very stubborn case back. I have the Bergeon 5537 cases back removal tool set, two Horb sticky balls and a nice roll of duct tape. Nothing is working. Any other tricks I can try?
  4. No it is an aftermarket. Not sure where it is from exactly, but it does look pretty good!
  5. After all of the white dial posts over the last few days, had to go with the Ebel today:
  6. Hi guys, Got a new photo studio to snap some pics of my girlfriends on-line jewelry store so I thought I would test it out on a watch. Definitely happy with the results. I will try out some other shots later this week. Here is my Omega SMP. I think the color looks pretty good! Opinions are very welcome!
  7. Glad to hear that gavidoc. I have to admit, I did get a tiny bit worried when you mentioned that. I thought I would wait on the general public's comments on it. It looks pretty good, but the rotor engraving looks a little old compared to the pics I have seen of the gen 9411.
  8. Thanks guys, but again, Logan deserves all of the credit for this one. I was just lucky enough to trade with him for it. He did an amazing job putting this together and sourcing some great parts for this!
  9. My first two watches were both white (well one is, the other is white and sliver) Anyways, my first ever rep was an Omega De-Ville Hour Vision that I purchased in downtown LA in the Santee Alley. Not a good rep, by any means, but I still quite like it. And oddly enough, this is the one that I have received the most comments on from random people who have seen me wearing it. My second watch purchase since I joined RWG is a gen Citizen Dual Time. Another very classy looking watch. But my all time favorite white dial is the Ebel. This is a classic watch!
  10. Hi Guys, Got this quite some time ago, and finally have had a chance to shoot some pics for you. Some of you may recognize this one. I think it has been passed around a little bit! Reviewed by Bazz sometime ago. This one has the correct hesalite domed crystal, frozen subdial at 6 o'clock, gen clasp, and gen closed caseback. Powered by a Seagull ST-19 manual movement. Enjoy!!!
  11. Hi T, Tried to PM you but your inbox is full. Thanks, RED
  12. More parts arrived today. Thought I would share some new pics!
  13. For today For sometime in the near future! 9411 Project moving along nicely!
  14. Happy Belated Birthday Pho!!! Sorry I missed your thread, but I was away for the long weekend. Hope you had a good one!
  15. Yeah, I noticed that after I posted the pics. I work in a very dusty environment so its hard to keep the dust down! I need to keep a polishing cloth in my desk!!!
  16. Yeah, the "no return" policy with crappy photos is what really got me. Nice story though! He certainly seemed to spend quite a bit of time crafting that one! This was my favorite line of the whole auction: "I have just been informed by generous and informed collector that this Tudor may not have a cal 390 movement, rather it could be an eta. I have no knowledge of these ins and outs of movements and the historical relationship between Rolex and Tudor. I want to disclose this information to all of you who are interested in this watch so you can make your best decision regarding this auction. I have told my story in the above revisions and I stand by it. However, as my listing states there are no returns, so please be aware of all the possibilities regarding the movement issue. Thanks alot."
  17. Hi guys, Had this for about a month now. Got it from another member on the board. Thought I would share some pics with you. It has a Swiss ETA movement, Genuine Pearl with a crack, & Genuine Bezel insert Thanks for looking!
  18. Fantastic V!!! It's gorgeous! Well on its way for sure!
  19. Check out this one. 7928/0 - apparently original owner. Watch head only. Can be found here
  20. I'm really happy with my Black & Bond NATO's from westcoasttime.com
  21. Does anyone make the regimental straps in 20mm? Aside from the standard Bond, Black, Grey, and Olive?
  22. I haven't been much of a fan of the Daytona's, but that is a gorgeous watch!
  23. Stephane, those are gorgeous!!! My vote: a 5513 would complete the collection quite nicely!
