Wow Ubi! Some amazing movement shots there! Always love checking out those pics!! To the original poster, I find patience factors in greatly on this one. eBay can be tricky, but sometimes saved searches do help as well. Donor watches can be tricky as well as you might end up spending more than necessary. Of course, sometimes you can sell off the case parts etc and make some money back, but that can be tricky as well. And +1 to what Ubi said about servicing. Definitely factor in some money in the budget for a servicing.

Went to Angus' website www.puretimewatch.com and I don't see any reference at all to Purebags. I'd say you've been scammed, but not by Angus. Sorry for your troubles.

+1 here. I have accounts at the others, but only so I can open up links that people post here at RWG.

I think the stain was just remnants of the "sticky stuff" from the protective plastic that I missed when I shot the pics. However, with regards to the clarity, the N-Factory is terrible IMO. There is a night and day difference between the two! The H-Factory is so clear it's pretty stunning. I will say this though - I think the date mag on the H-Factory is slightly off to one side.

The color on this one is quite spot on! Hard to photograph, but it looks very, very impressive in person!!!

My wife is exactly the same!!! Drives me crazy! Her old car was a 2007 Corvette Convertible. Had the Dual Zone auto settings. Worked like a champ. Now we have a 2009 Mercedes E-Class with the same thing. When I drive the car, I set it to auto and we are off to the races. When she drives the car and it's too hot, she dials the bloody temp settings down to sub-zero temps and cranks the fan up to "full speed ahead captain"! Then she gets cold, so she turns the heat up to the "I am hotter than the sun" setting. I have tried endlessly, and painlessly, to explain to her that we spend a lot of money for these nice little conveniences and yet she just flat out refuses to use them. I feel your pain my friend!! It's a battle that we will never, ever win (but you can be damn sure we will keep on fighting the good fight!)
