  1. Now that is a BIG ASS watch!! Great little vid though. I quite enjoyed the part showing how they paint the dials. Very interesting.
  2. Just tried it out and it's pretty great actually! The caller on the other end of the call didn't realize I was on a speaker at all. Supposedly you can connect two devices to the speakerphone simultaneously as well. Could be interesting for a conference call.
  3. Looks great!! Just got my Ingy from Andy with the same lume job. Pretty amazing!!!
  4. Drank too much of his own product I guess huh? Pretty impressive legacy though. Looks like he made quite a bit of money off of that little drink that gives you wings!
  5. Just got this in today. The Jawbone Jambox is a small little wireless speaker that uses bluetooth from your device for audio and/or speakerphone functionality. I love listening to music and sometimes while I am at work I am away from my desk working in other rooms in my building. I thought this would be a good little portable device for me to use. Reviews were pretty positive so I bought one directly from Jawbone. The particular one that I bought is a limited edition one that they made to support a charity group called "Charity:Water". For each one they sell, they are donating $50 to the charity. I figured since I was going to be spending the money anyways, might as well get the limited edition one and have some of the money go to a good cause. Anyways, I have to say that I am a bit of an audio nerd. I have worked in some of the best of the best recording studios in the world and have had the opportunity to play around with some pretty stunning sound systems. This is not going to blow your socks off, but for the size of it, the audio is definitely not that bad. Considering I will be using this in an office environment, it's not as though I will have it cranked up all the time. Overall I am quite pleased with this little device!!
  6. You need to be a supporting member to offer your watch for sale.
  7. Sweet!!! Wearing my Tudor again while I wait for a bunch of my watches to return from a well deserved spa treatment
  8. I don't think even my wife would wear that hideous thing!
  9. That looks amazing!!! Congrats! I just got my w0lf case in the other day. Almost have all the parts I need for my Pre-V 205a I must say, I have never seen a case this gorgeous!!!! It is truly incredible work and well worth every penny spent on it!!!
  10. Gorgeous Tudor J!!! Tudor for Tuesday for me as well:
  11. Never been asked. And to be honest, people rarely ever even noticed the watch. I did get a compliment once at a bar in vegas. I was wearing my IWC Portuguese Regulateur and a guy down the bar noticed the watch and said "That's a nice looking IWC". I thanked him and that was the end of it If someone asked point blank, I would say it's a replica and show it to them if they wanted to see it. Not that big of a deal in my opinion.
  12. Excellent job J!!! Looks the biz for sure!
  13. What is that AF Swiss wood board?? I like it!
  14. Amazing restoration!!!! Very nicely done and great pick up!!!
  15. Wow!! That is one of the best decals yet J!!
  16. My 7734 doesn't do that. It does it when the crown is unscrewed as I turn it the opposite direction to winding, but when I am unscrewing the crown it just comes out nice and smooth.
  17. Stunning job. The attention to detail is quite evident and the photos really help display that. While it did cost a lot of money, it is money spent over a long period of time and the satisfaction of building it yourself is absolutely priceless. I promise you, this watch will have way more meaning and be far more special to you because of that. Anyone can drop a load of cash and buy a gen. Building one yourself takes it to a whole new level of appreciation! Bravo good sir. Bravo
  18. All the best on your excursion to the top Hike!!!! My childhood hero was Sir Edmund Hillary and I think it's really cool you are off to Everest! Be safe and have fun!
  19. Thanks everyone for the well wishes!!! Had a great couple of days celebrating with my wife and friends!! Now that I've finished the second round of celebrations, time to relax and enjoy the great buzz I've got going off of some really great red wine
  20. Happens all the time D. That's why we have the Trusted Dealer list
  21. Very sorry that the forum and community have not catered to your personal needs. I must ask though..... Where are your reviews and/or contributions lately? Just saying...... People will get what they want and people each contribute in their own way. If your contribution is to criticize everyone who has posted in this thread thus far then I guess we can all thank you for your helpful and positive views. (insert sarcastic tone here) Oh and I have mentioned and done reviews of every single watch that I have purchased. I won't bother mentioning them here though since you clearly don't seem to feel anyone's opinion is at all helpful.
  22. Fantastic job on the bracelet! Nicely done Looking forward to seeing further pics of the restoration!!
  23. Have a great trip F!!! Hope you will be able to do a wrist shot up at the top
