  2. I have recently finished the group buys for the ETA 7750 movements. All members that participated were very happy and satisfied. The only problem is that i cant get anymore. If i can, which doesn't seem to be any time soon, they will be very expensive, around the $400 mark. Anyway, as per The Zigmeisters review, the Asian 7750 movement is great movement on par with the ETA 7750. So would people be interested in buying any Asian 7750 movements? The price would be around $100 - $130 but this would need to be confirmed. This include shipping of the movements to me and then on to members. OF course if we get more members then maybe it'll be cheaper. Configuration is 6,9,12 with white day and date wheels and Configuration 3,6,9 Please express interest in this thread, there is no limit, take as many as you want!
  3. Sorry this has taken so long to organise. If people are still interested then please let me know Cheers
  4. Ill be organizing the run probably next week. I have 5 bell and ross cases at the company now so when i get them back, ill start the PVD run Ill keep all informed
  5. OK here are the pics Its kind of just a pictorial of swapping the Standard BCE date wheel for the one that Lello has produced. Im not going to go into the details of how to do it, if you want to know that then please see Pugwash's post on changing date wheels. I have to say that it looks great and recommend it to anyone. Also thanks to Lello, This forum is truly a great place to be! HOWEVER, i have noticed that the date sometimes sticks, i.e. it doesnt fully change over at Midnight. It happens randomly and im not sure why. Not sure if its a date wheel problem or what. Maybe The Zigmeister can shed some light on it when he does some. Anyway enjoy! Pic showing the difference between the 2 date wheels, you can clearly see the difference, Lello's date wheel is great!

  11. Yes i will be doing PVD runs very soon
  12. Man that sucks, Hopefully youll get another posted out asap Looks good though!
  13. I have actually disassembled and reassembled 3 of these watches and havent had the stem problem that The Zigmeister has faced. It may just have been a bad watch that he got with regard to the movement and stem. Regarding the dial and hands, yes The Zigmeister is very correct, the canon and hour wheels are really short so installing hands is a real pain, however i did it no problem in about 10 mins. If i have any problems during the reassembly of the B&R watches in the group buy ill let everyone know.
  14. OK all assembled What do you think?
  15. Here are the results of the coating i got done on the Bell and Ross 03-92. I havent assembled the watch yet but here are some teaser pics for you to look at. Let me know what you think of the PVD. I think it looks GREAT!!!!
  16. Well the second case has been coated and the post office treied to deliver it yesterday -Arrrrrggghhhhh Im going away for a 5 day break in the Whitsunday islands, google it, so i wont be able to get it until about Wednesday of next week. When i do get it hopefully itll be great! Ill post pics when i can Cheers
  17. Keep an eye on the forum, ill will hopefully be starting the group buys of these watches very soon, SS and PVD.
  18. Well ive just bought this watch and can you tell what is wrong in the pic?? Yes the centre seconds hand is missing Does anyone know where i can get one or does someone have a spare one?
  19. Emailed mark and hes giving me a refund, all is not lost
  20. OK Mark, i feel for you i do however, you make some comments on the definition of scamming/stealing If people pay for something and you 'do a runner' is that not scamming/stealing? I am one of those members who hasnt received a date wheel and I know there are many more. Your apology is accepted but where is my date wheel or my refund?
  21. Recently got an old school SS Breitling Avenger Seawolf and had it bead blasted, or more correctly aluminium oxide blasted to look like titanium as the Ti model is very hard to find. Here are the pics, i also managed to remove the bezel and ill show some pics of that too. I cant wait to get it back and assembled Enjoy EDIT: Forgot to say that the crystal on this watch doesn't have any tension ring, its just a press fit, so no swimming with this watch!
  22. Im no rolex expert but the helium/gas escape value looks very different compared to the Gen.....
  23. If this is the case slai then i would get a refund and take your business to a different dealer
  24. If you have never done anything like a movement swap before i dont recommend it. Its not difficult to uncase the movement but its the hands that will prove to be difficult. Very easy to mark the dial and hands if you dont have the proper tools and experience.
  25. Well i contacted the PVD compnay after the previous coating turned out to be a brown colour. THey sent me samples of the other coatings that they do TiN - Titanium Nitride, which turns out a 'Gold' colour - This may be an option for gold watches??? TiCN - Titanium Carbon Nitride, which turns out a 'Grey, Silver' colour Other process, which turns out a 'Grey, Black' colour. Edited as when i searched for the correct name of the other process, RWG came up 5th on the list!, we dont need any attention The Other process looks great, ill be getting it done next. You can see the name in the pictures Here are the pics, sorry for the quality. I have put the samples next to the PVD brown coat so you can try and see the colour difference. Enjoy
