Come on man do some research, we are talking about a completely different movement, the DG2813 and DG4813 which are basically asian variants of the ETA 2836. Your watch PAM 127 has an ETA 6497 (Old unitas) movement, it has a firm place in history as a work horse and great movement. IT is a slower beat, but as another member said the second hand on panerais are usually very small so it wont be noticeable.

Yes it does, this is a common problem with chronos. Simple fix as Giorgio said, take the second hand off and using a dab of epoxy itll be fixed, easy fix for any watch guy

@TTk You do make some very salient points. OK maybe the only thing missing from the bezel on the HBB lite is the 'knurled' outside edge. Ill look into it

Yes i know the side of the bezel is different on the ceramic one compared to the HBB lite bezel. Does anyone know what these kind of markings are called or how they can be done? Thanks

Ive been toying with the idea of buying one of the HBB Lites. As you know the bezel is rep PVD on the HBB Lite compared to the ceramic bezel on the original expensive version. Well, if the real ceramic bezel is so good, and we dont want to fork out a grand for one, why dont we try and get it made? I know ceramic is expensive but its worth a look into. Also maybe a ceramic alternative that has the same fit and finish as ceramic? Ill try and find out roughly what the cost would be for a piece of ceramic that size and keep you informed. Can someone please tell me the rough dimensions of the HBB bezel? How many people would be interested in something this?

I was the member who said they were peed of with the price of reps in the first place but i dont think a boycott is the answer. Just wanted to make aware my feelings, if people want to continue to buy then so be it, its their choice and their money. I resent the fact that i might be getting dragged down for this one too!

Well timing depends on how fast we can get 10 members, or even 5 members to partake in the group buy. As soon as we get those members it should be delivered to your door step in approx 3 weeks. Please remember that im organizing this by myself,it takes a lot of effort, emails and time. I dont have any stock and wont be taking stock of anything. When we get enough people ill order the watches, when i receive them ill QC them and then ship to the members. So in that respect if you have to wait 3/4 weeks for it, itll be well worth it as youll have a watch that has been personally QCed by me. cheers
