  1. The Noobfactory DSSD is available in a21j, ETA clone, Swiss ETA, and China clone 3135 ... it's all the same base watch. I've seen the A21j for as low as $89 on ReplicaMake .. that price is gone now, tho.
  2. They are normally $29. That coupon code is only good for 200 people's use. It goes on sale for 19 about once a month, tho.
  3. If you bought it from a trusted dealer and it was advertised as a real ETA piece, then 98% chance it's real. They are not here to rip people off, and get thrown off the forums. What he means is that ETA movements are most likely warehoused, and older .. not new from the swiss factory.
  4. I should think that the lever arm, clamped down on the crown will compress a gasket very well .. no ?
  5. He is in Australia .. so depending on where you live, he could be asleep when you are awake.
  6. You could buy a vintage Sea Dweller replica .. those are very nice and people do not question old models as much a new ones.
  7. ALL the dealers and some modders like BK ... they all have the same watch .. it's a Noobfactory DSSD. No matter how much you pay for it, its the same base watch. Pay $125 $225, 300, 500 ... whatever ... it's the same base watch. (the movement can be different tho .. always be sure what you are buying) If you want your watch disassembled by a modder, checked for flaws, and improved with a new date wheel ETC ... it's going to cost extra, of course. You pay for a modder's expertise and time. There is a second factory making a DSSD but they have failed to update it for over a year. It's not as good as the Noobfactory DSSD (overall) anymore.
  8. I am no expert, but the forum watch techs on this board and others list "Ultrasonic cleaning of disassembled movement" on their movement service advertisements.
  9. I do not take apart my watches, unless I want to break them I use this machine for bracelets and assorted jewelry. You would not believe how much black cloud comes out of a new bracelet. Factory grime and metal pieces.
  10. Unfortunately the Noobfactory discontinued their Sea-Dweller edition last year. There is talk of a new Ultimate release around Christmas. There is currently no "ultimate" class Sea-Dweller available .. you can get a bad one or an "eh OK" one from any of our dealers.
  11. Oh you have to say it's a Deepsea. The normal Sea Dweller is a different watch. Sea-Dweller Sea-Dweller Deepsea
  12. Sorry but you have to zoom in a lot more than that for us to answer your question.

I wouls ask the dealer directly ... does the crown screw down? It is out in these photos and I find that to be puzzling .. ask if it screws down properly, since the photos show it as extended outwards.
  14. Like it says on the clasp .. this is a deployant bracelet for a Planet Ocean. The lack of the word "Professional" on the clasp means it's for a 42mm PO, I believe. The part numbers on the slider under the clasp, tho, are for a Seamaster clasp .. NOT a Seamaster Planet Ocean. Take from this information what you will. Something's not right. It has the guts of a Seamaster clasp but the shell of a Planet Ocean clasp.

OH I thought you were talking about the case back, not the movement ... the case back has the clear protective film, but the movement has both cote de geneva (Geneva Stripes) and engine turning. This is a crappy photo of the gen, so YES it should have those "weird grooves"
  16. I agree. You have to turn the brightness up so far that it ruins the image, but as you can see the case is very fat and the crown is inset but in the original image, it is badly lit.
  17. . On the main page of this forum is an entire directory of long-standing and trustworthy dealers. If they say Swiss, it is Swiss. If they say it's sapphire, it is. Prices are fair. Here: http://www.rwg.cc/forum/230-watches-clothing-accessories/
  18. Top one looks like the removal grooves are 50-100% deeper
  19. Absurd! Your English is infinitely better than my French, as all I know is "Voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir" And please don't blame yourself, since I have seen many little tubs of China silicone grease that say "silicon" on the label
