I recently decided that it was time to try and do some work on my 1680, so I did what I thought best and consulted my friends. They each in turn gave me very valuable advice including some help when I had problems. Now to the work: Dial Changed out for Vintaged one Hands Changed out for Vintaged ones Bezel Insert and Pearl Changed out for Vintage ones. All the work was done by myself nothing to exciting but satisfying none the less. This was my first foray into the watch altering business and all in all I am happy with my efforrts. I had a couple of probs, I attached the dial and hands and had a couple of probs due to the hands not going round properly, catching on each other, fixed that, then had some trouble with breaking one of the movement clamps, fixed that, then I noticed the dial wasn't alligned properly so have tried to fix that also. LMK what you guys think as I always value your comments and opinions. MASSIVE thanks to Randy, Joe, Rob and Dave. You know who you are thanks SOOOOOO much. Enjoy.

I agree but would have made a BIG diff to 2nd place. Congrats to the Bhoys on the victory and the championship the best team won, just think some of the decisions that go in favour of the old firm are JUBIOUS to say the LEAST. Especially Hearts vs. Rangers earlier this season and also the Heart Celtic game earlier when Balde ASSAULTED the player when he was the last man and got a harsh talking too, when the hearts player barely touched the forward, although definately a foul, as the last man and immediately got sent off. Its that kinda [censored] that pisses the rest of the country off. I just hope that tnite JUBIOUS decision doesn't cost Hearts a Champions League place as I would HATE to se the HUNS get it again. I have to admit I always thought that you guys well overratede Panerai's big time. I was strictly a Rolex guy, specifically vintage rolex, although did have a Gen Rad GMT Alarm, and really want a couple of IWC's and stuff. I never really got into the whole PAM bug thing with these "normal" models, decided to go for it with the Group Buy for that price why the hell not, and I have to say I LOVE IT. Really looks fantastic Its a bit loud but I actually adore it. It will be the first of many, unfortunately lol. Waiting on my new Navitimer and bond sub arriving then it will be onto the PAM's again I think 063, 047 and maybe even soon a 127. Although I was worried about the 44mm Case I think it looks awesome, 47mm might be a stretch but hey for just over 100 bucks who cares lol. My only prob might be the fact that my fav rollies might be too small now.... Enjoy.

Randy, Don't worry mate this aint gamma radiation the radiation that is given off discipates within 2-3cm of air, so if you include the crystal and the metal the radiation itself carries the entire distance of about 3-4mm as it can't penetrate either. No worries you would have to be sniffing the bloody stuff. Chris

They are all horrible and cheap and tacky looking except the Rad GMT Alarm in RG, lovely watch, but the new rad is horrid with the white chrono, and the 8 days looks like a 2 year old designed it. BIG mistakes for Pan this time these are VERY Diappointing. Enjoy.
