  1. Man, that's a nice looking piece! The bright red against the black is quite a striking contrast! Just pops! Very beautiful piece, brother!
  2. I may have an extra; I ordered two when I was gathering parts for my project. If I can find the other, I'll send your way...
  3. And a very nice collection of vintages that is! Glad to see you around here still...
  4. I'll have to give that a try; thanks for the suggestion, R It's a really neat piece! Very unique. Kinda funny... I used to think of the Hublot brand as a one hit wonder; they have the HBB line, and really you don't hear much else about the brand. But in thinking about it, it's not much different than the AP model line up. Sure, you have the Millenary, JA and EP's, the Starwheels and such, but they just don't get the attention that the Royal Oaks do. The bread and butter...
  5. I'm not sure which one this is, but I have this one on loan, and must say, I quite like it a lot. I only wish the clasp were a little more comfortable. I tried wearing it for a day, but ended up having to take it off while at the office, as it was just digging into my wrist in an unbearable manner. Great piece, and surprisingly easy to read despite being all black.
  6. The TAG almost has a larger bit of presence due to the portion of the crystal/dial showing; lug to lug looks a bit wider as well. The finish overall looks quite nice. I may have to give some consideration to one of these!
  7. Glad to see you around! Making gorgeous straps, I see I'd like to see a bigger pic of this, please:
  8. Very nice! How does this wear compared to, say a 44mm PAM manual wind? Looks like it would probably wear pretty similar on the wrist?
  9. Very nice, M, but I think I need to see a larger image of the one in your sig!
  10. The shock spring indents/notches on Halo's pic don't look pronounced enough to be an Incablock (in my opinion).
  11. Domi/Bricciola is in the EU. Also, I think wayward might be able to help.
  12. Narikaa can get the rubber straps for 42mm and 45mm POs.
  13. I'd agree; nice vintage/retro touch to a modern classic. I think it would be very neat to see one done up.
  14. There should be a couple of dealers offering vintage Subs/SD's (basically the 1570/5 era watches) now with flat 3, closed 26 datewheels installed; as the newer batches of watches are coming with an aesthetically more correct font for the datewheel overlay, I'd think that it shouldn't be a problem to also source some extras a la carte...
  15. No SS cased/gilt dial/hands combo for the 16610; TT 16613, yes, but that's about as close as it gets for genuine configurations.
  16. I think the white dial is visually very striking! Nice variation on the Flieger. I also like the Spanish datewheel; to be honest, I didn't even think twice about it when you first posted, and thought it may have been German (since we were talking about it a few weeks back). It wasn't until I looked at mine and realized the days were different Great looking piece with a nice engine under the hood, Lani! I may have to eventually pick one of these up (maybe after my other IWC projects are finished ). Cheers, //ubi
  17. Yeah, that's the 'flat', current version of the T39. It has a nice dome profile to it, but it's a very conservatively curved profile and the edges sit higher off the bezel/case; not bubble shaped like the Superdomed 39. Here's some (old) pics of the last one I had: Personally, I like it better than the Superdome, but I think that's just me (most people seem to like the Superdome better, methinks).
  18. Not entirely sure yet, but it will likely be either of these for Weds:
