  1. I told you guys Mrs. Ubi was tough on watches... So, anyone have any ideas as to how to pop this bezel off? I've tried all the usual methods- Case knife wedged between the bezel and the case, etc. That sucker's on there... No budging...
  2. When I get around to buying the next gen... It will likely be this one...
  3. Looks very Genta-esque in design, and not just the bezel. The dial layout is very reminiscent of Genta's retrograde designs... Definitely an interesting piece....
  4. If I recall correct, you had an EL orig. right DL?
  5. Today, I received this buckle for an IWC; supposedly gen (purchased as gen), but not sure what to think. From an aesthetics standpoint, it looks a little 'old school'; what do you guys think?
  6. Hands will cross over as the pinions are all the same size. As the movement is thinner, the height position of the stem will likely differ; not only will the crown not thread down, but the added tension will cause stems to snap.
  7. Fantastic watch, Red!
  8. I know how luminous tritium can be produced in small batches... Very small. Enough to lume one dial and a set of hands...
  9. Wow, BT. You're making me pull up some oldies for this one. Quiet from the peanut gallery regarding the quality of the pics T'is an old one to be certain...
  10. Some white dials are just classic... Some are elegant... And some are just crisp, and clean... And some provide just the right amount of contrast...
  11. Give the full wind a try. At least then you'll have an idea if the problem is with the actual movement (possibly mainspring) or with the auto wind mech.
  12. Hmmm.. PAM168 revisited? I wonder if they'll end up getting the dial color right?
  13. You can opt for an FD36 RX-7 with the LS1 transplanted. e.g.
  14. Happy belated, A! Not sure how I missed this thread initially....
  15. Lie! Lie through your teeth! And then promptly visit an AD thereafter to fool the staff with your watch.
  16. How long does the watch run with a full wind? i.e. slowly and very carefully manually winding at around 40 turns?
  17. Agree, kruz- I'm sure that the forums serve as a test bed of sorts to check product reaction and adjust as necessary (maybe) based on input from members.
  18. Out of curiosity- Do you have the small inner pushers installed in the movement spacer ring? Might be something else to double check (though it seems as though it's more to do with the pusher itself).
  19. Just remeasured- JF from crystal to caseback is 14mm...
