I had considered adding a pricing breakdown, but those figures tend to flux and are in no way static. I would hate to set a certain expectation only to have those figures become outdated or inaccurate...
I dunno. If the seller happened to be the same individual that the watch was originally issued to for active service, I wouldn't have a problem with no papers/docs. That would be enough provenance for me.
Same would go for a 5517.
You know... At the time, I think it was just too big. Too much shiney metal and the sort. I think that's why the only Breit in my collection that's stayed for any real duration is the Blacksteel. It's big, but not too ostentatious for me. Especially when I have it on a G10.
Oh, that and also probably because it was a 'lite'.
But the SFSO is a great watch, no doubt.
Just got home and looking through a couple of my notes for curiosity's sake...
Last listed MN with papers/docs I noted was $14k retail/consumer price.
Last unlisted MN no papers/docs sold at
I would advise to leave it alone. If you are not familiar with this procedure, you stand to risk more harm than good.
+15sec/day is not terribly bad. If the watch is new, you may even notice that it will settle out a bit according to your wearing habits and how you position it over night.

I'll see what I can dig up for in prog build pics for the EP's...
Hmmm... Last MN I saw for sale was $5100 and that was roughly 4 wks ago. So, more than $5k, sure. $100 more. But that was not a retail price. No paps either...
Folks are selling in this market... And at good prices if you know the right people...
Looks like MW's/TOWS collection. He posted a pic of one of his closets jammed full of boxes- Each shelf was like 6 across, 6 high and 4 deep. He then went on to say that each box had a corresponding watch to go with it, and that was just part of his collection...
