I've glanced at those, but haven't really had a chance to look at them in great detail. I would concur that the NDT case is without crystal; not a huge deal, as it's really the mid-case and caseback you want. The bezel, crystal, crown and pushers are easily updated to gen anyways.... If you are considering a 16520, I highly recommend checking out some late serial gens; you can pick up a W, T, U, etc for $8k, which is a bit more than building, but you'd have a gen

If either will work, drop me your address and I'll send these out. I certainly don't need them; the Daytona clasp was fubbered from the factory (stripped screw in the non-extension side link) and I have a few rep Sub clasps laying around; I won't miss it

Ahhh... Yeah, I missed the part about the problem being with the bracelet fitting over the hand Though I do believe that an added link with some fine tuning at the clasp could make a difference without fitting too loosely on the wrist. Great work, pics and walkthrough of the prep process. Out of curiosity- I noticed that the stem remained in the crown during the entire process- Does it receive the DLC process as well?

I think Mrs. Cara would love it! It's a great watch for the money. I had contemplated the gen for a brief period of time, but found it hard to justify the price for a quartz fashion watch, especially knowing that there were full ceramic reps out there. I could have just as easily picked up a pre-owned ladies' DJ with cash to spare instead. In the end, the price for the rep made the decision easy for a ceramic solution...
