  1. Hmmmm... JohnG's numbers may be slightly skewed as they don't take into account the number of 'As Seen On TV' special edition HBB replica's produced specifically for the Antarctic regions only...
  2. Wearer: Yes Collector: Kinda Accumulator: Sometimes, though I do try to limit my watch count (parts seem to be a different story) Builder: Definitely(!) This hobby is therapy, borderline insanity for me.
  3. I've been waiting patiently for mine....
  4. Re: Your 03 6502 caseback; wanna swap for a DSN D serial?
  5. Usually You might also have a black, or white van sitting across the street from you as well.
  6. For old time's sake... My Swiss V23 powered franken 6265... And a few others...
  7. Some of the newer gen models have the rehaut engraving (i.e. Z and M serial). Some of the Z serials, but not all. For a while, the engraving was dependent on if the watch was SS, TT or 18K full gold, though now it is a feature that is being implemented across all model lines, regardless of case metal type...
  8. LOL at the $400 premium for the 16610 LV. Cause you know that green insert and maxi dial are worth that mark up
  9. Hmmmm... But which name means more? EL? Sunshine300? Eddie Murphy? I remember, he once had me send payment with the description: 'STD testing kits' I was like 'WTF?!'
  10. Gorgeous pics, sir! Looking great!
  11. "who the heck is davidson?" Just some dude.
  12. WM9 also has the bottom of the retaining ring channeled for a gasket. This is the same as gen, as my genuine bezel assembly has the same channel.
  13. Have a great trip! Looking forward to hearing of your adventures when you return! Cheers, R
  14. Please read through the thread. Source of this watch is discussed.
  15. The set screw to hold the stem into the movement/keyless works has worked it's way loose. Easy fix, though it requires opening the caseback to access that set screw to tighten.
  16. As far as I can tell, the domed appearance of the crystal in BK's pic is actually a reflection off the dial in conjunction with the crystal.
  17. 1) unthread the crown. 2) pull to position #2 3) CW turn = date, CCW turn = Day
  18. I have to admit; I've not been a huge YM fan, but this one has me quite anxious! Based on the preliminary pics up to this point, I'm excited to see the finished product
  19. I noticed it sometime ago as well. I welcome the new banner. Well done, gang!
  20. Perhaps a little more information is in order. When the watch stops, is it while you are wearing it, or is it while it is sitting stationary in your watch box, or on your dresser, night table, etc? When your watch stops, is it when the hour and minutes hands are in close proximity (i.e. perhaps they are touching as they overlap)?
  21. Even a broken watch can be reliable... At least twice a day.
