  1. Who has this avatar? I've never seen anyone on this forum go so far as to use an avatar with content like that?
  2. Yeah... Happened to mine too. On the next post, it went away
  3. Changed my mind too... All boring and Rolex-ish here as well...
  4. Mmmmm... Quite lovely! I dig! How long is the strap, Kostas? And what are the holes punched at?
  5. Might give this one some wrist time today....
  6. That PVD Casablanca Chronograph is intriguing...
  7. I believe the 6239 had the 6mm Twinlock.
  8. Looks great, Eddy! I think I also prefer the lighter Xa, but both look fantastic
  9. I dig it, Kostas! That sandwich dial with the PVD case is a great combo!
  10. Starting off the week with my frankenstein...
  11. The movement was not refinished, but actually brand new... Very lucky indeed! As for the milgauss... Are you wanting to do a 6541, or 1019?
  12. Don't worry fellers... No watch was dismantled or harmed to build this one... Arch- Keep your eyes open... You can still snag an El Primero 400 for less than $900.00...
  13. Damn nice, Marco!! A great find for sure!!
  14. As avitt mentioned- Best to try not to compress the bars in too much- Only enough to move them out fo the lug hole. What I typically do is undo a link so that the bracelet is seperated at the clasp. I then turn over the watch so that I am looking at the baseback side, and then insert the pin for the springbar tool. Once you see the springbar end compress, apply pressure with your finger to push the endlink just enough so that the springbar end is now pressing against the solid surface of the inner lug (i.e. the end is not going back into the hole). Then do the same to the other side; once both ends are out, it should be a matter of simply pushing the link out.
  15. Damn, Eddy! At this rate, you're going to have every Panerai in the catalog by the end of the month Looks great!! That's one big mofo!
  16. Agree- Looking at the pics, the dial is not original. Some tell tale signs that give it away...
  17. I'm down for 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10! I'd also like to see a quality Heuer Monaco (amongst several other watches...).
  18. Many, many thanks! I am glad to see that the gen insert has found it's way onto your beautiful watch! It looks great! I recently parted with my 1680, but have another in the works to replace it Once you've had one, it's hard to live without...
  19. I'm so sorry klingsor... Can you help me remember? I don't recall what we had discussed?
