Is your watch a recent purchase, or have you owned it long term (i.e. several months/years)? The crown coming loose is a small and trivial issue; it can be threaded/tightened to the stem, however the stem itself would need to come out to do so. The movement stopping overnight is obviously the bigger issue; you mention that it is a problem that has only recently surfaced, so I presume you've owned the watch for some period of time (long enough to notice it as a new problem). It might be a good idea to get the movement serviced as in general there's no telling what kind of condition or age the movement was in when it was cased up during assembly. An overhaul should remedy whatever the problem may be (which could be a number of things, ranging from something as simple as hands coming into contact with one another or a dial marker to a worn out mainspring, etc). If the watch is a recent purchase, maybe contact your TD to see about getting the issue resolved in that manner? Most are receptive to helping when troubles arise...

Personally speaking, I am not so sure that I am comfortable with the idea of having something emitting radiation strapped to my wrist, regardless of emission levels. From that standpoint, I am more than happy to have my 6538 build as a piece I can daily wear...

For me, it depends completely on the watch. For watches like vintage Patek, I prefer something on the thinner side to match the elegant lines and aesthetics of the watch as a whole. For watches like a Panerai, I need a thick strap to balance out the look as well as the way the watch wears. The size and weight of the case requires something more durable to keep it stabilized on the wrist...

You should do a vid clip of your repeater! I bet it sounds amazing!

This is my first foray into the vero squalo world and I have to say, it's... Interesting... The strap is really growing on me quickly though, and in my opinion it's a great addition to the collection if you don't already own one! Really changes up the look and feel of a watch Wish I could find a sueded shark with the old logo buckle; think my only real option is to have one of my old buckles sewed in and retrofitted to such a strap. Think you should pick up a shark AND a stingray... Think a nice, blue ostrich would look good with a Pepsi too!

Thanks sir! I use an 8 year old Canon EOS Rebel that's been dropped, whacked, banged and smacked more times than I can recall. Glass is a 55mm macro. As a whole, it's really held up quite well! Wish I knew more about focal lengths, apertures and all that; all I really do is just focus in and shoot. Pics are as-is; I imagine if I knew how to tweak them a little in an editor of some sort, they could look much better! But, they do alright for what they are...

Yessir; the patina on the blue dial is what really adds to it's charm Seeing the warmth of yellow gold peek through the cool, austere blue is one of my favorite details about this piece... Nice juxtaposition.

Dial, case, bezel and crown- No good. Bracelet looks like an authentic C&I expanding link; only thing that looks worthwhile on the watch...
