Most likely will need to de-case movement. Depending on where it snapped you might be able to latch onto it with tweezers or worse-case have to do a bit of disassembly of the keyless to snag it...
I just snagged a pretty good running Hamilton movement and dial and was curious what vintage Rollie this might be good for. I believe it equates to an ETA 2451...
Yeah, International Priority Mail and Express Mail are ridiculously priced... The package returned to me was 2oz going to Singapore. I guess the "red-flag (according to the sticker) was a customs declaration and Stamps for postage...
I mailed a small package (padded envelope) to one of our Brothers across the pond last week (like I have done many times over the years) and to my surprise found it returned to me yesterday with a sticker on the front stating:
Attention Mailing Customer
We regret to inform you that your mail was not collected or is being returned to you due to heightened security concerns.
The following must be presented by the customer to a retail service associate at a Post Office location for shipment.
Any mail that bears postage stamps and weighs more than 13 ounces. Any international mail with a Customs declaration that was not completed and submitted online. Any International mail that requires a Customs declaration and bears postage stamps.
It looks like everything except Priority or Express mail (done online) will require a trip to the Post Office. There goes the gas bill...
