    Tudor Ranger

Yeah, definitely a unique set of hands...
  4. A while back I sold my "Red" Ranger and was immediately struck with "seller's remorse" and vowed I would build up another one day. I don't often surf through the sales section but a few weeks ago I felt drawn to that subforum and was immediately rewarded! Datlore001 had listed a partially completed Range with a couple of "problems" and we worked a deal and it was on it's way to me! It turns out that the Yuki dial was a bit on the small side, diameter wise, and the feet didn't center it on the movement very well. I machined a very snug movement spacer, clipped the feet and glued the dial to the movement perfectly centered, and put things together. When I finished I dispensed with the black strap and added a 19mm Brushed Oyster and it was done! Thanks to Datlore for passing this on to me and hope y'all enjoy the pics of this "lowly" 34mm watch!
  5. Remembering how much I like 34mm...
  6. E, acquired project from Datlore001: ETA 2836 Yuki dial and hands Rep 34mm Prince Date case Rep Brushed Oyster Clark crystal Copy of Air-King bezel
  7. If it's a PT model then the inside of the crystal skirt will need to be shaved or the OD of the rehaut reduced.
  8. Looks slick, even if I don't like straps! Good job, T.
  9. I have repaired several and all of the parts I used were gen ETA parts...
  10. Looks nice, what "year" is it? I'm not that big a fan of the hockey-puck DSSD anymore but if you want something with a date and no "wart" on the crystal a regular Sea Dweller might fit the bill. If you go "vintage" then the sky's the limit as far as choices go...
  11. Looks good on ya, R, wear it for a long time...
  12. Fantastic! My 36mm collection has shrank some but they still feel about the most comfortable size out there.
