  1. Is that true? I was planing to buy the Box for 18 Pcs to be able to put all my watches into one Box instead of two or three different boxes. But my PO Chrono is 18mm high so it doesn´t fit in there?? Thanks, Drolson
  2. I´m absolutely sure that it the 5004 has just a mineral cristal, mine had two deep scraches after day of normal wear. But after an hour of polishing with diamond paste (and sore finger tips) they´re gone. So if it´s not possible to buy a new one maybe that might be a way to go. On the other side I might be interested in buying a sapphire crystal, so if there is a source....
  3. Thanks guys for the kind words. I´m still enjoying the watch. Have been wearing it for one week now and it still blows me away. 465$ shipped. No there´s no sign of changing colours yet, but we´ll see. Someone posted pics about securing the pusher with a screw from the inside of the case, it must be somewhere here. Just search the threads of last week. Drolson
  4. As you can see in the pictures of my thread mine haven´t turned grey so far. After reading the thread over on RG yesterday I had the feeling that this would happen to all the watches. As someone there wrote it could be some kind of pigments that loose the colour over the time under UV-light . As I´m always expecting to spend sth around half of the watch price in addition for movement service and/or other maintenance I think I will send my watch to be relumed. Let´s see what the dealers/factories offer... Drolson
  5. If you can wear a Super Avenger you can definetely wear the 187. I´d say if you are interested in big diving watches you have to go for the new Pam 187. It´s simply the best of my reps and I´m sure it won´t get any better than this. Drolson
  6. Well I wouldn´t call this watch small... but it is a little smaller than the Super Avenger. The diameter is 47mm in contrast to 48,8 mm. Especialy the lugs are shorter and thinner. Height and weight are very similar. Drolson
  7. Two days ago my new Pam 187 from Mrs. King arrived (flawless transaction as always and only 10 days from China via Uk to Germany ). I realy love this watch an I think this is the best a rep watch can be. The over all quality and build of the watch is simply awesome. I´ve read "this watch is just like the gen" about a lot of models and I´m convinced that it is not true (there´s always a major difference in the overall feel and finish), but I think this watch is very close. The watch is huge, bulky and heavy (212 grams) just as i like it . Opposed to contrary reports on the fora my rubber strap is extremely soft and comfortable to wear. As stated before, the caseback is one of the best and realy gen like. The crownguard, dispite the difference to the gen, is nicely finished, with a tight and absolutely flush lever and closes the spring loaded crown very tight. The bezel is stiff and turns with a nice fat click in minute increments (60 clics). This is by far the best rep bezel i´ve seen and felt, comparable to the bezel of my gen Omega PO Chrono (it has 120 clics in contrast). The indices on the bezel are nicely polished, as are the teeth on the side of the bezel. The cristal is very nice, fat, slightly domed, has realy great AR and a light purple hue just like the gen. The dial is beautiful too, chrisp engraving, nicely set indices and a great colour. But the main thing that distinguishes this rep from others is the qualitiy of the hands. They are chrisp, highly polised, and just superb build. On my watch the date pusher works fine, but i´ve been very careful with it and avoided to screw it into the case too far. One last story about the watch before I post the pictures: I showed the watch to my 3,5 year old daughter and asked her if she liked it or not therefore if I could keep it or have to sell it (over the last years it has become a ritual with every new watch ) So she looked at I and approved it.... then she inspected the watch for a little while, turned to me and asked: Dady why didn´t they put a glass in there..... (I swear this is true) Ok here are the Pics: The hands: Caseback: Strap and buckle: Different setting: Crown: Size comparison: Pam 187 Super Avenger IWC Big Pilot Pam 112 Height: Lume (week as the gen ) : AR (gen on the right): Me preparing this thread: Hope you enjoyed it, Drolson
  8. The dial is absolutely stunning, as is the cristal. It´s curved, super clear, has great AR, I just love my Flying B. I´m wearing it on a dark brown gator at the moment. Trust me this wath is worth every cent. True, it is huge, but if you can sport a Super Avenger, you can sport a Flying B . Drolson
  9. It looks like the crownguard of the 111 isn´t properly fit to the case, especialy at the bottom DROLSON
  10. Hi Slask, I bought my PO Chrono at "Wortmann Uhren". I was very satisfied with his service, he replied the e-mails very fast and always reachable by phone (called him a couple of times). He´s definetly a reliable online Dealer and the prices he can offer for new and unused watches, especialy Omega, were better than everything i had been offered by any AD or other online Dealer. Calculating his prices i would say the PO with bracelet could cost sth. around 3500$ including shippment. Just try to shoot him a mail. Good luck, DROLSON
  11. I have a modded SDDS since nearly two years as my daily rocker. In my oppinion it´s a great wacht for every day wear. It´s got a bracelet, is easy to waterproof and approved for heavy duty (ab)use with the ceramic insert and the domed cristal. The only thing that may be a problem for someone is that the watch is a bit top heavy (just like the Omega PO and PO Chrono). The main problem i have with the GMT II C, besides the small size, is that i can´t fit the bracelet properly to my wrist (17,5 cm) its either to loose or to tight. But quality wise i see no difference, it looks and feels great and my wife is wearing it for over a year now 24/7 without any problems. All in all i love my Deepseaa and if there was just one watch to choose i would strongly consider it as my only one (or maybe my Super Avenger). drolson
  12. Yes it is. That was my very first wacht bought four years ago, followed shortly by my pam 90. Since then i have only bought Reps (only exception was a seiko which my wife lost)
  13. Problem with the Bob straps is the thickness. They are a little too thin in comparison with the gen Breitling straps. I´m contemplaiting about buying a gen croc strap, because they look very nice.
  14. I´m an active Member in one german gen forum and I realized, that most of the members recognize pictures that were posted in other rep and gen fora. As result my name and avatar are totaly different in the rep and gen world. As ronin i´m aware not to post the same pictures, even not the same backrounds or settings. But since i joined RWG i´m less and less active in the gen forum . I just like the atmosphere here.
  15. Glashütte Original Senator Chronometer
  16. If you are in Germany or the EU you can try this dealer klick me. But if you order you have to use the Internet Explorer, it doesn´t work with other browsers. DrOlson
  17. Today i recieved the two straps i ordered at Heroic 18 for my new Pam 111 and 112. There were some minor issues with german customs, but fortunately they thougt both straps were calf and i could take both home (wet from sweating). The straps are the "Limited Alligator 24/24 dark brown" and "Italian Persimmon with beige wax thread hand stitching". Both straps are wonderfull really butter soft and very flexible despite the thickness of aprox. 4,5 mm. The watches: The buckles: Gator: Calf: Those straps are realy nice and so far the best straps i have seen. I will definetly some more straps at Heroic, as soon as my wife has calmed down (hopefuly it will be within this year). PS: After the packet was stuck in customs i did a little research about importing alligator straps (ok maybe a little late). After what i read there i would not recommend any german member to buy other straps than calf from countrys outside the eu. This time i was lucky but it can be very expensive if you don´t have the cites-papers. DrOlson
  18. I had the same problems, but finally the watch was delivered to the forwarder (after 3 attempts and 14 days), shippment from UK to Germaniy then took about 14 days. DrOlson
  19. Thanks. The dimensions are: 38,50 x 58 mm just like the gen and 17mm high. All the chronos work perfectly, and the date has a quickset and is perpetual (changes from 31 to 01). Anyone who can sport a Super Avenger can wear this watch as well. I absolutely love my new breitling. Thank you. Basically i just put my watches next to a lamp on my grandfathers sideboard and shoot some photos with my DSR Camera. Honestly that´s it. And there are just a few good pics out of maybe 30-50. The post in the UK couldn´t deliver the packet to the forwarder three times, so it was delayed two weeks. But most of the watches and watchparts i ordered from Precious Time needed 4-6 Weeks, as well, so i think its prety normal for the EU delivery
  20. Today i decidet to take some photos of my new watches. Because i was already there i pulled out my other watches and took some additional pictures. As i joined the RWG 16 months ago i had two watches, my Omega and my Pam 90. Today I own 10 watches. Contemplating those numbers i realized that i have bought a watch every two months during that time, not speaking of the straps and stuff i bought in addition. Main problem is: my wife did the same math.... But i coud convince her that i need, and i mean NEEEEED the AP black themes ... she then convinced me that that is the only watch I´m alowed to buy this year So goodb(u)y Pam 177, 127, 219, 187, PloProf, Big Pilot... and all the others. Here´s the current pics: DrOlson
  21. After i recieved my new Pam 111J yesterday i descided to do a groupshot with all the Pams i bought in the last 1,5 years sice i joined this great forum. Hope you enjoy those pics, DrOlson
  22. Yesterday i recieved my Breitling Bentley Flying B i ordered at Perfect Clones last year. The watches (the Breitling and a Pam 111J) were nicely packed and as expected the time from order to arrival was nearly six weeks. The Flying B is a great watch but a big (...more than big to be honest) chunk of stainless steel. I absolutely love the watch. The front: The back: And the wristshots: As my wife said: that thing is big and it shouldn´t be any bigger, but its size is just about perfect Hope you enjoy the pics, DrOlson
  23. At my Gen Pam 90 it is possible to wind the crown while the lever is closed. I remember the same question coming up in a german Gen Forum and all of the Pam owners could wind their Pams with the levers closed, at least those who dared to do so DrOlson
