  1. I always found those bezel removers useful too with them...and they are cheap But if you contact Mike at watchbitz.. in the dealer section.... he can do you a deal on a custom tool kit and help you choose the best tools for the job etc Well worth contacting mate...
  2. Are you sure that it is Andrew you are emailing and not one of those scam cloners using his old names etc? Andrew is usually very quick to reply especially before you order I would double check you have the right contact info mate... If you have then it could be the way you are writing your question and he doesnt understand or thinks you are a funny one.... remember his first language aint English..and between teh 2 of you ..you could be struggling.. And remember its a 7750
  3. I havent seen that one on any sites myself..I have seen pletny of Big dates and the leftie big dates... you could search watcheden they tend to chuck all reps (good bad and downright bloody awful) on their site.. But personally why not contact a few dealers with that pic...they will likely know straight off if it is out there.. But I doubt it will be a good rep...
  4. Oooooo now thats sharp..... and so right...
  5. Not intentional mate..its just I posted about it on another bronzo thread... The dial is in prototype but a few have been made..the case is in prototype but has been made in cuSn8... by looks of it we will have it around CNY maybe earlier... Its the ZF maker..
  6. Cancel my reservations... I was happy to eat your food and drink and wear your watches...but watching you roast your chestnuts is just too much ...
  7. Thats the old rep mate ..177H..totally inaccurate.. Avoid that.... assuming they are even still made... TT and Josh will only sell the H makers PAMs ... I think the current one is the 177N
  8. Hello mate Welcome and enjoy...no reason you cant use both places
  9. Esmir...Esma...Esmer.... Eserm.... I cant say it...!! Hunchback
  10. Welcome mate There are for sure some fantastic pieces available so I am sure you wont stop at that TAG
  11. Welcome to the dark side mate... Hope to see you round more even if RWI is back up ...which I hope will be soon Make sure those hands are clean now ...
  12. Like I said though mate it was a tell going back but I aint certain in this case...it would be my first assumption but I would double check... Price wise I think we will see some biggies coming soon....across the board...
  13. Yes mate but in the case of what I talked about above thats not possible and generally not always possible anyway given location etc .... as for research I do plenty of that but again that is exactly my point... but thank you for the thoughtful response and it is great advice when relevant...
  14. Most modders dont do it as a rule or rather dont do it completely...for many reasons..time, cost, risk of damage etc If you ask specifically it is best but most will do that dial for you mate.... and most will do it well So depending where you are depends on who... ie avoiding customs risks etc if US then Vac, or Kent Parks (long wait time) plus some others but none I would use on this dial personally... then if in EU you can try Domi or LeWiz (though he is temp not taking work at mo)...personally it would be Domi...and if in Asia or Aus etc then Goin is worth a try.. However if you dont care where you send it..then personally I have found Domi the best at removing and redoing the lume on these style dials But which ever you choose I would wait till after crimbo to send it but try to book it in now ... and be prepared to wait around 3 months or so..
  15. I would kill for a good one mate...no doubt Would love to see some of the oldies appear to the same level as the current range But I think makers prefer to work from a gen or variations of that gen say like the 305 to the 389 and 382... I know from experience that the gen is parted up then those parts sent to the sub contractor to replicate and they have a habit of breaking, damaging or losing those parts so I couldnt see anyone offering their gen up for use in those models...
  16. CP is the Canon Pinion its in the centre of the hands...it is the stem that holds the hnads in place basically (I circled in your pic below) The gens vary in shape but generally all are flushlike and flattened to the face of the hands and polished... basically The KWs are all too low in place.. its a minor thing overall but is a big talking point amongst PAM heads in general...but no more in this case than say the CG or CG pin, or dial etc Overall these are still a decent OTB rep so dont worry yourself and jjust enjoy a great rep on your wrist
  17. LOL !! I tried that but I only got 300% added to the shipping cost... I tried that and was told to use the search button
  18. He doesnt buy them to eat anymore... he buys them and gets them to wear his watches around.... I vote we all go round to Mikes and he can cook for us and we can wear his watches.... because he really needs more wrists..
  19. Many a time I have looked at some great pics of some fantastic watches on here and other forums... or in all walks of life.. TV, Mags, in person etc I also see some great combos... of cases dials with straps etc and I like them so I want to get them.... so I do get them or very similar... But as soon as it arrives or its built and I put it on my wrist or hold it in my hand...and I suddenly realise i dont like it... For example I love PVD especially a light pencil grey.... I especially like looking at PreV and PreA PAMs in PVD...so I build them..I spend months getting parts together and spend much money.... Yet once it is in my hand..I hate it... Yet I keep doing it... !! Its the same with say a vintage case or dial..beit a PAM or maybe a Ling or an Omega etc... I love them in the pics or on someone elses wrist... but as soon as I have it I dont like it and I wont wear it... Its also the same with straps...god knows how much I have spent on them or watches ... I see lovely combos ...but once i have it on my wrist I hate it.. I know its not an accuracy thing as most stuff I wear is frankened or modded or gen... And once I have shifted the watch or put it away... I see the same or similar watch or combo etc and I want it... I think maybe I was wrong maybe I didnt give it a chance... so on some occasions..I go and do it all again.. !! and still the same result !! Is it just me.... is it because of my view when its on my wrist compared to seeing it on someone elses...is my taste different when I wear it to when i look at it.. I dont get it!! Why would I like something I have seen and yet once it is on my wrist I cannot like it.... Is it just me?
  20. They are all nice mate and show a great eclectic taste... I like them all but I agree with Doc.... are you planning on a diet Mike :) Great lookers... like me
  21. Thanks mate...guys can get jealous...but I am used to it...I have been used to it half my life..I am 73 I was born in 1967..now so thats almost 55 years of my life and the other half the other 31 years I was hidden in a cupboard by my parents... so thats almost 23% of my life...
  22. No probs mate... you can see it means different things to different people and I aint never heard of Shides personally...
  23. Generally I used to go by the bearing...if its ETA style then its low if its toothed then its high.... That used to be the tell on HBBs A7750s .. I dont know if that still applies though ... I am looking forward to the new World GMTs from the BP maker
  24. I wouldnt know myself but if it was by chance a rep..I would love the guy who built it to tell me how he got that aged look... Because that alone is perfect...
