I'm no expert but this has already been done by polexpete. His overlays are widely used and seem pretty good to me. They're readily available on fleabay. I'm not trying to p*ss on your chips just letting you know that your admirable efforts might be best spent elsewhere. How about a white one? For some reason pp has only made his in silver. Or, how about a datewheel that slots straight on to the movement? I know some modders hate overlays coz alignment is a real pita!

I have the printing skills of Stevie Wonder and the computing skills of an amoeba. Now, if you want to put on a production of Hamlet in an inappropriate venue with a tiny cast and a budget of thruppence ha'penny I'm your man!

You know what we really need? A flat top 3 date wheel that fits straight onto an ETA 28xx movement for use in 1665 and 1680 reps. We've nearly got it cracked with polexpete's DWO but it's an overlay and a pita to fit/align. I'm sure one of you geniuses out there can make a toothed wheel that just pops straight on, no aligning and all that jazz. I've got really nice vectors of the date wheel in the correct fonts sitting in my hard drive if anybody would like to take up the challenge?

Obviously it depends on your circumstances but cash in itself is not an appreciating asset a daytona is . Personally I'd take the cash and buy a classic car

One small observation: When you scroll down the homepage first you see 'the lounge' then secondly the 'trading zone'. This sends a message to the casual observer that we are more about buying and selling than we are about the appreciation of watches. I would suggest that the 'brand forums' be put before the 'trading zone' to emphasise what our priority is. If indeed talking watches is our priority. If not please ignore everything I've just said
