Thanks everyone but Josh has said he will get me the link i need!!! I will get some tools myself soon and stop relying on watchsmiths to resize bracelets.

Just realised i said broken ENDlink... what i actually mean is the link at the clasp end... not the endlink we usually refer to at the bezel end... hope this clears it up...

yea... curious to know if it is flat or recessed? will it fit my 029? might as well move on and assume that i will never get the datewheel i am waiting on. what price are these?

I only got this from Josh a few weeks ago for my girl. Got the mid grade white ceramic with pink diamonds. Quite happy with it when it arrived... the second hand does not quite align with the markers when it ticks... but I am not sure if this is a major issue or if it can be corrected - doesn't really bother me or my girl though. Well, took it to get resized last week at a watchmakers... went to pick it up today and he had difficulty with the links. He said he could not get the links out and tried soaking in oil, etc... i suspect he did not know the proper way to get them out. I read in another members review that you only need the push pin tool and the pin pops out??? Well, he broke the ceramic endlink... so basically now the bracelet is useless as the endlink is different from the other links. Wondering if anyone here on the board has a spare endlink lying around??? (longshot I know...) Or should i email Josh to send me a couple of endlinks? Not sure if the factory will do that seeing the ceramic is supposedly quite exp??? Also, has anyone else had problems with resizing the J12? I am thinking that I should buy a few tools myself and start resizing bracelets myself. Which is the best? I guess a push pin tool... and I also seen birdman sell a pin remover tool where the watch is attached to the unit and there is a screw on the other end you screw and the pin comes out? Any recommendations on what basic tools i need for resizing different models of watches? Thanks in advance!!!

I have always worn my senna tag link chrono to golf... never had problems... maybe i should stop now? so i guess i need to get a non chrono daily beater watch for golf... shopping time i guess...

I posted some time ago about a friend of mine who got scammed into buying a 2nd hand Panerai Power reserve from a watch shop. He was told it was gen but it turned out to be a rep. Anyway, he contacted them about this, and they have apologised saying they did not know it was a rep and that they were selling it on behalf... they have now offered him another watch... a Pam 111H... here are the photos. I am no expert so was hoping if someone here can tell if it is gen or rep? Thanks in advance!!!

To be honest I am fine with the super reps prices being slightly higher... so long that the same watches are not for sale in the streets of China or Thailand for much much less... if this is the case, I will have to start polishing my skills of telling the difference between the super and normal reps (I suck at this...even after all this time...) and start buying them myself!

what size wrist have you got? i ordered the same model and yesterday... my wrists are about 6.5" starting to worry it might be a bit big for me as well...

I think AR is pretty good to have.... but on the outside??? would it be prone to scratches then??? I am very clumsy with my watches and always used to scratch me cheap seiko or casio's when i was a kid...

what really peeves me off is that we all made pre-orders for the datewheel and there was quite some delay in getting them done. then when finepics came to take firm orders, that was the same time there was another thread selling the same datewheels by another member... but i kept to my word and so did some others in our initial order and paid up... and we were the ones that got screwed...

Just saw on trusty's site that the blue dial/bezel edition is out... looks pretty good! I can't decide whether to get the black with white chapter rings, silver with black, lilac or blue...

They are available... I think motorola released a model recently with modern screen and it can txt and has battery life of a few weeks... my friend bought one...

I am also looking for a watch for my girl. Thinking of getting the J12, is there a reason why the white ceramic is more expensive than the black ceramic? Is white ceramic more expensive to produce? Also, is there any point getting the genuine ceramic? Is it worth the price difference? The black J12 with the baguette diamonds on the bezel look pretty good as well. But not sure about the quality of the ceramic.

ditto... waiting for my datewheel for my pam 029. my watch has been sitting in the drawer with all the parts just awaiting the datewheel before I can get it modded... thinking of giving up...

Got a very nice surprise yesterday... some shares I bought last year GGG (Australia market) which had been suspended for a very long time just got relisted - I paid $0.445 for the shares and there were bonus options available to shareholders for $0.005, reopened yesterday and closed at $1.80 for the shares and $1.39 for the options!!!!! At one stage the options went up to $1.50 which is a 30,000% increase!!! If only I had put more on them...

thanks for the input. he said to me he paid about 10,000 ringgit or thereabouts... cant remember exactly... which equates to about us3000.
