  1. i dont know if i'm gonna bother with this rep, just ordered ttks sub (mostly for the bracelet), and dancing around the idea of getting the mbw 1b, unless a tw turns up
  2. screeeeeewwwwwww that!!!! maybe i should put it on the bay
  3. maybe i should try to source a sapphire crystal and build the first sd transitional sub!!!! what do you think of that idea? can it be done?
  4. yup, very weird, any suggestions my friend? isnt the 16660 one of the transitionals? matte dial, sappire crystal?
  5. so, the insert fits in my mbw vintage drsd, any thoughts on that anyone? its definatly gen, which is making this weird
  6. ahahahahaha, sorry, that REALLY made me laugh maybe this guy will blow whoever wins the auction as well.....jesus
  7. yeah, considering the mbw, but i would really love to get one with no lugholes. i've never been a huge fan of the sel's, i prefer the classic style band and endlinks, thats why i hope to get the tw classic
  8. thats what i'm guessing too randy, which is a bummer, cause its really a nice sub, but it looks as though it wont be getting this insert after all. gonna have to wait until a tw classic turns up
  9. here's a pic showing the gap. dont know what to think of it really. thanks for the offer chief, i know you're a stand up guy, i am more curious to figure this out then i am in need of a refund....lets see what we can come up with here first
  10. exaclty randy, lol.....uggggghhhhhhh, gonna take a pic in a few minutes and post it
  11. to small in diameter, there's a few mm's of space left btw the bezel and the insert
  12. I got my gen 16610 insert today, so i thought i would drop it in my sub from el, turns out, the gen insert is too small instead of too big. never heard of that!!! has anyone else experience this one?
  13. well...how kind of you to say, now i gotta do it just to impress you!!!!!
  14. you aint kidding tribal, but i will not stop until i have one :)
  15. the taking it apart is not what worries me, i've done that time and time again, its the seperating the overlay on the datewheel that makes me nervous
  16. nice one tribal, when i build the nerve up to do this, i gotta fix the datewheel on my 1680 white sub
  17. I just got my new mbw white sd dial to replace my current drsd dial. on the mbw vintage watches, the feet are removed from the dial and glued to the movement, such as the mbw sd i am currently working on. i also have a modern sd with the nickle eta movement as well, and when i removed the dial from the movement, the feet were attached and i had to unlach them from the movement instead of unglueing them. i do not have the movement infront of me for i'm at work, but i am curious, can i use this nickle eta with this new dial instead of the eta that came with the mbw, or will the feet not line up? anyone ever do this? thanks
  18. but today was a good day so far. first, mail from the weekend was my gen 16610 insert second, mail from today, my white sd mbw dial not bad for a shitty ole monday now, if someone would just sell me their tw classic sub today, i would be extatic
  19. looks great, of course, randy..... so technically, it'll just be another rolex rep, lolol, sweet, now i dont have to feel guilty. thinking of going for the 47mm, i just dont want to end up making my rollies feel tiny, and i'm not a big guy, but i like massive watchs.
  20. looks great. i wouldnt say its the same as el's, i have the el one, and i think the rehaut on this one is a little deeper from the looks of it, i could be wrong, just looks a tad deeper.
  21. i knew you would bite randy, lol. is that the same as your avatar? is it a panerai, radiomir, blah blah blah, too many names for the same thing
