  1. Holy crap, wth happened to that crown?! Looks like someone or something chewed on that thing. Also, that rubber gasket sandwiched inbtween the the caseset and bezel probably needs to be replaced as well?
  2. Looks amazing! The polished endlinks look good, but you should get an extra set DLC'd so you have the option of switching up. I think a custom kevlar strap would look amazing on this watch and give it that tactical presence.
  3. Can't wait to see this project progress further! I'm totally in!
  4. I'm in! I hope this project follows through!
  5. You really have to becareful with the lug screws and also the screws that hold the strap to the plots. Using good jeweller screwdrivers is a must, not the cheap "bergeron" type you get from fleabay. I had to bring mine to my watch smith to get one of the lug screws out and had to order another set through my TD who was able to source them through Noob factory. Looks like you can refinish the case, but the screw looks beyond repair and you'll have to source another set from your TD.
  6. Wow, this is amazing stuff right here! Subscribed and can't wait to see the final finished product!
  7. Awesome watch and strap combo! I have the same strap on my 195, its perfect for any DLC/PVD PAM.
  8. I haven't tried on the JLC, but i can say the AP Diver v3 that just arrived is hands down one of the nicest pieces i've had my hands on. Definitely one of those staple pieces you need in the rotation.
  9. I'm not gonna hate on the kid, he's a hard worker and he can wear all the PAM's he wants. =)
  10. Glad you received your AP Diver Serge. I bought the other Diver w/strap+buckle and had the same sentiments after reading the ban shortly after I paid via pp. However, he did contact me first and asked for my mailing address since he couldn't get back into his RWG account to check his PM's. He assured me everything is still kosher despite his ban, in which i received an electronic tracking # via USPS shortly after. The watch is still in transit, but i will say our transaction has been good so far.
  11. Stunning build! Please stop teasing with just one wrist shot and post more pics m8! =)
  12. Amazing! Must have been fun sourcing all the parts for this build. =)
  13. any of you know when taka's 2893 dw will be ready? i'm really considering swapping in his 2892 dw into my 2893 but i hear that the dw will be sunken as Mickey said.
  14. Thanks for the comments guys. I think it was good the 112 left the watchbox or else i wouldn't have acquired these other pieces. =) Also, that 1978 Rothschild is definitely not a rep. It was opened on my birthday this year. =)
  15. Since my Sead ultimate 112 left my watchbox for a lume fix, i've been on a Pam binge lately, these are my latest acquired pieces from a very generous member over at RWI. ENJOY! Rare EL 029b & ol'schoo 118 tobacco dial/ti Is that the rare 2893-2 EL movement?!!! ol'schoo "Officne Paneri Firenze" swiss mov't PAM FER030 my favorite of the Panerai Ferrari series and one of the best OTB. 3 of my vices - PAMS/Cuban cigars/Chateau Mouton Rothschild
  16. I finally have an oldschool brown dial ti enroute to me from a fellow member on another board. Will post pics when it arrives. =)
  17. Definitely one of the nicest 036's put together! I'm debating whether i should just jump on DSN's latest 036 offering, or keep waiting for an oldskool 036 to be offered in the classifieds.
  18. Oncyte, that 061 is simply beautiful! Doc what are the specs on that 036? Everything from the movement to the dial is gorgeous. I've been lusting for a 036 on my wrist lately, specifically the oldskool offering.
