I think the gen. is the one on the right. The CG’s look much better and the hour markers don’t have that over filled look like the reps. Pic. of my gen. for comparison.

Thanks for the info I have already drilled and re tapped the case to 3x0.3 mm. Unfortunately the crown I had was a 24-600-0 and it looks like I have fitted the wrong tube and it has damaged the crown thread . Am I right in thinking I would need the ‘old style’ tube for the 24-600-0 and the new style for the 24-603-0 If I go for a 24-603-0 as used on the later explorer 14270 will it look the same as the 24-600-0.

Hi I want to replace the crown and tube on my MBW Explorer 1 1016 I think it needs a 24-600-0 crown but I am not sure what tube I need with this crown. Any idea of the rolex ref for the tube and a good source of crowns and tubes other than the bay. Thanks

Out of interest does the 1016 have the same 1.3mm lug holes as the 5513 etc.

To me it looks like a very nice FAKE, with a gen. bezel insert.
