  1. Yup - look out for the postman, you'll have your watch any day now! The trail usually stops there for me - I've had things delivered to my door when the online status is still "Handed over..."
  2. Wearing the IWC Ingenieur today - still getting used to the weight, but its a great piece!
  3. Looks good - that datewheel should be an easy enough fix. I'm sure you could buy a bracelet off one of the dealers if you need more links. Ubi - are there any fixes for the bracelet's weak clasp, or is it a write-off when it breaks? Its a great bracelet otherwise, apart from some sharp edges.
  4. 2 questions - - would it be possible to replace a damaged ETA2824 in an Ingy with a ETA2836 movement? - do the cartel sell genuine ETA in the current crop of Ingys? From photos I've seen, the day/date fonts are not ETA on the "Swiss ETA" Ingys.
  5. Domenico can do AR on my Ingy too hopefully - now to find his contact details! Where in the EU is he based?
  6. Thanks... But...Slevin or Ingenieur? Which one? Which one?
  7. How easy is it to switch between bracelet and rubber on these babies? Probably getting one in the next few days, any recommendations who to send to in Europe for mods? Thanks guys!
  8. Hmm just realized the old "secs at 6" issue will still cause problems for the A7750 on that one!
  9. Lani - droolworthy pics man! Got the Ingy on my shortlist, love the rugged design. Just wonder what the opinion is on the newer versions, I hear the dial isn't as detailed? While looking at the newer Ingy chronos with the A7750 movement I realised with the absence of a datewheel they might be a pretty reliable option too, any feedback on that? Still leaning towards non-chrono with a Swiss ETA movement though, just wanted to hear some opinions before I make the plunge. Thanks Lani/all - there's a wealth of info on the forum already.
  10. Nice work on that IWC! So guys... could I have a quick show of hands - would you choose this Slevin or the black face Ingenieur (non-chrono), for a 6.5" wrist? I know the A7750 has issues which had me leaning towards the ETA-powered Ingie, but the weight and size of the Ingie has me thinking twice. Decisions decisions...! Reminds me of this sight I saw in London a while ago... check the plates!
  11. What's the next step, print the hi-res date-wheel and stick the numbers on? You must be kidding... does that actually work?
  12. Best dealer to get one? Is there just one version of rep around? Great posts and pics guys
  13. Don't mean to dig up a dead thread but good G*d those Aquatimer lume pics from Zig look amazing! Zigmeister, I think you and I will be having conversations of the e-mail kind very soon (soon as I get my grubby lil hands on a Slevin - en route!).
