Your thread title needs a question mark at the end......
-
I agree, fugly watch. I would never wear one, or any of the Grahams. How many people will buy this, just to put it in their watch collectors box? I wonder why this one is $20 more than all the other Grahams? Seems a bit silly to price bump like that....
-
Definitely would need a backup DW for sure I agree with you in that the Senna version is the nicer watch, but I think the price is way too high! Plus I would never buy a PVD case Hublot, it is meant to be a non scratch ceramic case, one scratch on the PVD and it's appearance is ruined..... SS case or nothing for me.....
-
Welcome aboard rolex001! Very nice Tudor, what beats inside I wonder?
-
There have been good reports regarding Watchmarks services, so you can buy with confidence. Check out his HBB's, some of the best prices around. I would suggest you email the dealer if you have any questions, his English is not perfect, but workable. Cheers!

I am using Opera... It should work via a proxy, very strange. Try IE6/7, or opera and see if that works......
-
Well the address as http://www.timesshop.net/ works for me... EDIT: have you tried via a proxy? http://www.ninjacloak.com/ would be an easy way to check...
-
You should see the genuine watch, with it's black font/black background datewheel, it is even more unreadable! My ideal HBB consists of a SS case, polished ceramic bezel, ice bacg dial/hands and a smooth rubber strap
-
I was thinking about that, you could probably just paint over it with some slightly opaque black/grey paint, no? So that the white becomes the dark grey it should be..... Just a thought
-
Different strap maybe? Just the general finish may not be as nice? Still at least it's not over $1000, at $415 it is much more reasonable
-
You can get a cheaper version of this watch here: http://www.timeshops.net/Big_Bang_Black_Ma...)__1329-669.htm It is not the same watch, different factory, but still a $600 saving is quite nice I feel Cheers!

On Angus's website you can get the UPO with Asian clone for $238, and using a drop down menu select Swiss ETA for $278...... http://www.puretimewatch.com/index.php?pro...icture_id=95227 So it would seem it is possible to know what you are buying, and that certain dealers are aware of the difference in the movements too I would assume the Asian clones are probably available elswhere for about $200 is delivered, if you ask about. As mentioned before, I would prefer a new Asian clone, than an old stock Swiss ETA....
-
What did you pay for it? If the watch cost $300 or more, then I would be very upset, if it were me. I would email the dealer straight away! However, if you paid $200 or less, then I say if the watch has a good dial, clean hands and is generally free from defects etc.... Keep it and be happy, I bet it will keep perfect time Either way you should really contact the dealer and let him know you are unhappy about it.... EDIT: Soon this type of movement will be all we can get..... Bye, bye ETA, but will it mean bye, bye to the higher ETA prices? I bet this type ETA of clone movement, will still carry the same price premium.... At least they will if the dealers/factories think they can get away with selling them as Asian ETA

Dexter FTW?

The lume on that white dial looks perfect, that is a fantastic dial!
-
I would also highly recommend the rubber strap over the faux leather strap too. It repels dust really well and will definitely wear better over time....
-
Key words there: "used to" All rep prices have gone up over time, weak dolllar, yadda yadda yadda.... Other dealers I looked at were over $300 and using EMS..... The build quality is top notch, and the single sided AR is very effective, more so than other watches for some reason, must be somthing to do with the crystals shape. Suffice to say, it is very accurate and considering it's size, comfortable too!

I mentioned the ioffer sellers name in my second post: Shir As for why I purchased from him, well I got it for $300 including delivery via superfast fedex! My first watch I got from him (titanium IWC chronograph), I received in two days. This one took a few days longer because of a weekend in between. Still, most of the other know dealers cost more than this price ($300) and use EMS delivery. I am really fed up with EMS, because in the UK they are delivered by Parcelforce. Add to that, the fact that EMS/Parcelfarce deliveries have been sitting in customs for over 4-5 days recently, meaning it can take up to nearly two weeks for delivery! I hope that answers your questions guys. if you are from the EU, Fedex may not be a good idea, maybe you could get a better price from the seller for standard registered delivery Cheers! PS: Some dealers were not even listing this watch for sale either, but other less accurate versions. The replica Ferrari 008 was made using the original watch, so the case back on mine is correct etc..... where other Ferrari replicas may not be.....

I agree with you there 100% it is lucky that the Breitling rubber straps are not that expensive, at least when compared to other major watch brands...
-
I see what you are saying, the "200M/660FT" should be shifted to the right by a mm or so. I think to be honest I can live with that. In the same way that I can live with my titanium IWC chrono having the "schaffhausen" a tiny bit out of position too. It is no where near as bad as the non chrono Heritage "A and P" alignment, which sticks out like a sore thumb, at least to my eyes
-
Well my 7750 watches all look about the same as the pictures here, at the same given time, give or take a few minutes either way..... At just past 10PM the date will be lower in the window, and at nearly midnight the date will be really out of position, just ready for the final click over.... Just as these pictures indicate.... So I would I would suggest there is nothing to worry about. I mean you may get few that are a bit misaligned, but no more or less than any other A7750 based watch. The only mistake the dealers made was chosing the wrong time to take the pictures
-
Indeed, it is the reason why you should never use the crown to forward the date between the hours 10 to 2.... A Lello DW swap will work fine and improve the watches appearance massively. It will be alligned too, unless the DW is printed inaccurately, and I have seen no reports of that being true with Lello's Breitling wheels....

Not seeing what you are seeing at all, care to elaborate on what you mean? Plus your link is not working either Nice one By-Tor, nice and tidy
-
Kinda does, my Chopard starts to roll just after 10
-
Taking pictures of the watch when the date roll has just started to move, or as it is about to flick over, is a bit silly to say the least!
