  1. I agree with you in a way, it is just that this can be made 99.99% perfect with an easy DW upgrade and rubber strap.... The non chrono versions incorrect dial bugs me, so I have never purchased one, plus the DW fix is not available for it....
  2. This picture would appear to confirm double AR, no? I would be suprised if they were low beat, but you never know....
  3. Thanks for the link Watchmark has them for sale too then, and lists them as high beat. Pictures seem to indicate double AR to me....
  4. Can't quite tell regarding the AR, but from the pictures the dial seems very clear. The movements pictures (blue/brown version) do show a regulator, I wonder if they are like the new Chopard? Which has the new high beat 7750, plus functional regulator? I image PT could answer these questions for us
  5. I felt the same about large watches, then the Chopard changed my views 180 degrees! Now I wear large watches with pride!
  6. PT has posted a Breitling Superocean Heritage chronograph for sale looks pretty good to me! Link here: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=74121&hl= Pictures: Genuine black dial: Looks like you could get Lello's Breitling DW and you would be owning a damn accurate replica! Genuine rubber straps can be purchased quite cheap. This is an easy project watch to perfect, and seems to have a better dial than the non chrono version too! Great price too for a newly released watch, which is nice..... Any thoughts? Feel free to add more genuine pictures for comparison! Cheers
  7. Yep it wear large for sure. If you have tried the new Chopard Chronograph, you will find this watch in the same ball park, but maybe a tad thicker! It certainly catches the eye of more people than any other watch I have!
  8. I disagree, the person involved is driving sales. IE: ME, those people are not on the forum, or even know about it.... The original post was regarding the dealers consulting forum members about what watches should be offered and how they should be created in terms of accuracy etc..... My point was that all the forum members make up a tiny % of the larger dealers main sales. Most of their sales would come off forum.... Cheers!
  9. Is that your real name you are logging in as? That might not be a wise idea.......
  10. If you think $1000 for a replica with a modified Asian 7750 is reasonable, then I have to disagree, but that is only an opinion, everybody can have one.....
  11. I guess you missed the posts regarding the $1000 version that was released by our other dealers? For all that money, the other version still has flaws too..... http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=72609 Also how is $415 nearly $500? That is some rounding up you are doing there! All my A7750's are still ticking, low beat or high..... Cheers!
  12. Thanks guys This watch is really nice, and at a much more reasonable price to say the least I would love to see Watchmarks high beat version, just to see what, if any, the other differences are... Mark lists his high beat version at $795, I wonder if he will upload pictures to his site soon? Somebody should email him and check
  13. Fair enough point robj I suppose, however this is not the sales area, or in fact even the dealer area. So it IS open for discussion, price and all. Although there has to be a limit too, hence I did not post a direct link to the other dealers offering, or pictures for that matter... I can safely say I would love to have both these watches in my collection, particularly the Arton Senna version. I would never, ever drop $1000 on one though, unless they put a Swiss movement in one for the same price Also for $1000 it is not to much to ask that they get the details right.....
  14. Thanks TT, I have no axe to grind Just noticed the HBB hour glass should have a polished bezel, not brushed. Also our other forum dealer Watchmark has a similar version available for $415 (low beat) $795 (high beat) You would have to ask Mark about the differences. His has no gold 2 though.... I will not post links or pictures here, but just the item No: 1329-669 Cheers!
  15. Based on common sense. I am a member of this site, none of my friends and family are. Lots of people know about the dealers sites through word of mouth and email etc..... Not everyone googles as there first attempt. I have lost count of how many times I have noted down a few websites for a friend, or friend of a work colleague, or by txt message etc.... I would suggest about 5-6 people I know have purchased a replica, some more than one, due to finding out about them through my purchases, or are at least are thinking of doing so etc.... So one forum member buys a watch and then five or so non forum members also purchase. How many more people find out about the watches through them? So it goes on........
  16. Haha that is a great quote and so true! Everybody should use that in there sig lol
  17. Damn straight italiano17771! You would be mad to drop over $1000 on a replica watch with an Asian movement I remember when people were saying the Breitling Evolution was over priced at $1000 with a Swiss 7750!! People are blinded by these HBb's it seems..... As for the modded DW, as mentioned, there would need to be lots of peeps wanting them and that will simply not happen......
  18. The forums make up a tiny % of the dealer sales....... At least for the dealers with credit card sites anyway
  19. Wow, the guy was totally unaware of its worth too! Well I bet he paid off his mortgage and such like!
  20. Here is the Hourglass: Looks good too, but the case back engraving is not quite right. Shame really, so close to perfect..... Lots of Hublot pictures here: http://www.passions.com.sg/Hublot/Hublot.htm Cheers!
  21. WOW! These both look fantastic! Genuine: Nice replication, shame they did not recess the subdials quite as much.... Is the rotor engraved?
  22. Yep, but I doubt it could happen, unless you are really good terms with a dealer....
