  1. Well that information is available on these forums already for those that can search. You seem to want Pugwash to spam the board with it like some kind of public advisor every time he posts! I think you should get off your soap box and start enjoying the forum and let other people enjoy it too, without your trolling of all Pugwash's posts. It comes accoss as childish and makes you look somewhat of a fool. Cheers
  2. I would not 100% trust that advisor software. Many customers I have helped had the advistor report no problems, only for the actual install to freeze and lock up etc.... I would wait until the SP1 version at least if I were to buy it, but then I am not going to buy it Any games publisher that only supports Vista with the games they release would be losing the massive sales potential XP users still represent. At least I hope that will prove to be the case
  3. OK if I have this straight. A thread was started asking where to get good watches, stating he heard of a stall in MBK, but do you know anywhere else? Now why would you reply to that if you only knew of MBK? You would not, simple................ Even more reason to not understand what this leonado's problem is
  4. OK you did not post the information, but from the thread I read somebody else had already mentioned MBK, so why would you repeat the same information? That's why I don't get his problem.................
  5. Yes true enough, but why all the axe grinding?
  6. A fair question, an answer would shut this leonado fellow up. What his deal anyway?
  7. The pearl does look a tiny bit larger on the rep. As for the HE valve I doubt it is functional due to the 1000m water resistance claim the factory has made. I could be wrong though
  8. I was being a bit unrealistic expecting a microsoft OS to run error free for 72 hours!
  9. Interesting stuff, thanks for the info Is that a quote from the film or a message from your brother regarding Vista?
  10. HAL: hardware abstraction layer What does HAL stand for in the film?
  11. It has no D3D sound support or EAX as microsoft removed the direct sound HAL. Creative are working on a "WRAPPER" to fix this, but the performance won't be as good because this is basically emulation of the hardware calls. I will not be upgrading also due to the DRM issues, game problems and it's massive resource hog etc....... Oh but it looks pretty......
  12. There are some more vintage Rolex pearls/dots for sale people! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NOS-Vintage-Rolex-Su...1QQcmdZViewItem Get them while you can!
  13. Thats a great Submariner Really nice deep rehaut. Date mag a tad too far to the right, but apart from that it's one of the best Subs I have seen for a while. May I second the question of price? Cheers!
  14. I just noticed the 1000M water resistance Are the watches pressure tested before delivery? The QC must be very high for that remark Cheers
  15. I get this message when I follow your link: Sorry, the page you requested was not found
  16. Great stuff I can't wait to see it when it's finished, keep us posted EDIT: Great to see you put the WLSD dial in so fast!! Looks great, even if I do so so myself
  17. Great story and great first post. Welcome to the forum
  18. King was very helpful too She promised to check the chrono resets to the correct positions and that the watch runs without problems for 24 hours I could not ask for more. Great pictures ryaku, are they offical Tag shots yes?
  19. I have just ordered this watch from King She says the date font is fixed on the version she delivers now too If I can get my camera working when it arrives I will try to take some pictures!
  20. That could depend on too many different things. Maybe download an audio codec that has a "normalise" option and a loudness boost. The one that springs to mind is AC3filter, have a search on google and you will see what I mean
  21. Don't forget the sound card I mentioned goes into the PCMCIA card slot It would hardly stick out of the laptop's side at all, one inch or so at most I upgraded my laptops CPU a while back. I was tricky to do, and the mouse pad never worked afterwards no matter what I did to fix it Good job I use a usb mouse anyway I am typing this message on the very same laptop! So no harm done.........................
  22. The sound card would be intergrated into the motherboard and is NOT changable. If the BIOS is not seeing the hardware AND you have reflashed/upgraded your BIOS then the hardware has most definitely failed. I would suggest you get it repaired if it is free under warranty, to not do so would be a waste. You could also look at getting one of these: http://www.creative.com/products/product.a...p;product=10769 That would give your laptop sound again Be sure to completely remove all the old software/drivers for the old card before you install the new one. Cheers
  23. Same thing happened to my bracelet too. I was wondering if you can buy just a bracelet for this watch from a dealer because the original rep band is very poor quality when compared to the rest of the watch and I can't adjust mine to fit now Any ideas? Cheers
  24. I thought the main problem with the modern SD reps was the thin bezel. Look at this picture I took from ebay: The bezel is much thicker than on ANY replica I have seen. If they corrected this flaw, I would add one to my collection in a flash! Cheers
