Actually, I will wear it sparingly and for special occasions, I don't want to damage it, or even scratch the thing for that matter!

You will not be disappointed b16a2, it's one of the best replica watches around, and I don't restrict that to Rolex reps either So silky smooth on the wrist, like no other watch I have worn.....
-
Thanks guys I think he was banned previously for posting reps on gen forums and creating unwelcome waves, he re-joined under a different name selling some watches and dials, but was soon kicked again..... Cheers!

Thanks! It was a scary time, but every cloud has a silver lining (or bezel?)

I like my new Yachtmaster!

I purchased this watch a while ago from the RWG member watch sales area, had quite a scare in fact. I saw it for sale and jumped on it, paid up promptly as always, and then a few hours later the seller was banned! ARG!!! So I experienced a couple of weeks of purgatory, wondering if I had been ripped off..... However all was well, and in fact the seller was a perfect gent, very helpful and quick to reply to my emails..... Anyway enough chat from me, here are some pictures, click to expand: This watch is so damn fine! Great quality, I don't even know where to start! Fantastic end links, date mag, crown guards, correct thinner case profile (no other rep has this) and of course superlumed dial/hands etc...... This watch uses the ETA2824, which is a bonus, as I thought it may have had the Asian 2892 clone, so I lucked out there too. If you are on the fence about these WM9 Rolex watches, get off it, you will never find a better Rolex outside of a gen..... Thanks for looking, comments and observations welcome!

They both look sweet!

Nice franken, where did you source the parts?

To answer your question, I do not know of any.... Cheers!

Just received my DSSD - Awful experience!

Why would any dealer do that when they come direct from the factory with reasonable pearls anyway? Sounds like a BS excuse for why your pearl was totally missing If he modded the pearls why was it not mentioned in his original sales topic? I wouldn't want a watch that somebody had been messing around with.... -

Drop ship from a factory direct to the customer, or drop ship to a stock holding area and then on to the customer, it is still the same thing...... Dealers like Sead1999 and Precioustime can't drop ship, as they receive the goods into the USA and UK first and personally inspect them, any that don't come up to scratch are sent back I don't think for one second that PWC ever sets his eyes on any watch he sells.... -

PWC comes from a wholesale background, that is why his customer care is so crap, his own ego comes well before his customers actual needs Of course he drop ships, with the volume he sells through at the slightly lower prices he charges, what did you expect? He is the last dealer you should choose if QC is your main bug...... -

Never mind, once bitten...... Maybe you should consider buying your watches from Super Mirrors (sead1999)? He is based in the US, so no shipping issues and zero customs risk, or return delays, plus 110% better QC and after sales service, his prices are still competitive too..... For US members he is surely the best option? In the same way that Precious Time is for us EU peeps..... Cheers! -
These are from Puretimes website, he posts the largest pictures: I have adjusted the contrast/brightness a little bit too Genuine: As for a direct side by side I have not seen any, but bearing in mind the running seconds are at 9, not 12, accuracy is a bit of a moot point, as that is a dead givaway right from the get go.... Cheers!

You purchased the watch from prestigewatchco, very bad decision A drop ship dealer, with zero customer skills and after sales service, virtually any other dealer would have been a better choice for you.... PWC was selling Asian 7750 reps as Swiss on ioffer for a very long time, probably still is. Heaven knows why they let him become a dealer over there anyway..... How many watches does he sell that go straight onto the member trade forum? Loads, because they are only similar to the higher end reps from the best factories, and people get fooled, his descriptions are ambiguous at best.... Lesson learned the hard way, sorry -

That sucks, who was the dealer? Hope you get it sorted..... -
Ah I see, very nice though still
-
Hey that looks sweet! What PAM base model is that, or it is a custom job too?
-
Mr neither most times, but as you say, there is something cool about this combo

Just received this watch from MrZoSo over on Repgeeks, and I must say I really like it! It is a Panerai 113, but with a PVD case instead of polished steel I swapped over the faux croc strap that it came with for a DSN one, as I think it suites the smooth black finish better than the croc strap did..... What do you guys think? Click to expand: I like the contrasting dial and case, the blue AR is nice too. I forgot to take pictures of the case back, but we have all seen Asian Swan neck movements before! Comments and observations welcome!

Mickey Padge replied to ThinkBachs's topic in The Rolex Area
Yes it's a A7750 based movement, so no doubt it will still be too thick, but at least it is reliable when compared to the secs@6 paperweight version Francisco did a fantastic tear down of the movement here, taken from the new Omega chronograph: http://www.rwg.cc/members/Review-Omega-Chrono-M-t95511.html The subdial spacing has been moved inwards, so it is now correct for the pre-2000 Daytona, and apparently it is just a matter of timer for the Daytona to appear..... Thanks for the input Ubi! I think this has been posted for sale now anyway..... Roll on the new pre-2000 Daytona replica I say! They have the modified movement now! -
Very good idea too I found the links on Repgeeks, peeps over there have used them without any issues as far as I can tell.....

I don't think the watches origins are really that important, but more so the actual case construction itself Have a peak here: http://www.rwg.cc/members/Kind-t21659.html...franken+daytona You can see some really sweet franken Daytonas from our resident expert ubiquitous, and you will also note that this case is very similar indeed to those in the other thread. I think the crown position on this watch is a bit lower, but a gen crown and tube could fix that maybe? A little crown guard trimming too of course.... So for someone looking to put a project together, this case may be a very good starting point. Although I freely admit I am no expert, but I am sure there are others here that could point out the more finer details and where I may be wrong Cheers!
