It is lighter, but the ceramic is only a small part of the watch, underneath there is a steel casing it all screws into, so the watch still has a good solid weight to it! The sales thread has been posted now, what a bummer, damn my acid eroded teeth! When I get more funds next month, I will probably buy another though!
-
There are lots of variations with gen Hublots, but I am unsure if they have ever used a gold ceramic like this, they should do though! The idea of a never wearing out gold finish is just so cool, especially when we are so used to crappy gold plating on our reps, which will eventually fade or wear out in places.....
-
It certainly is! Unfortunately, as always happens with me, I need to sell this piece I spent too much this month once more!
-
Strange, he has always been very prompt for me, right from the start, his email is: asian7750 at hotmail dot com I just noticed the smooth rubber strap smells of vanilla, very nice!
-
Thanks neverworn! It is a sweet piece for sure, very well built, and for a much better price than I though possible, for a full ceramic watch! I handled the gen of this only a week or so ago, and this watch compares very favourably indeed!

I have just received this full ceramic Hublot from Tony, over on http://www.asian7750.com/cn/index.asp Great service from Tony as always, and $50 cheaper than anywhere else The difference with this full ceramic case from others you may have seen, is that it is gold coloured! With a black ceramic bezel and black CF dial, the overall quality is amazing, and the AR is the best I have seen on a replica. How the other factory can justify over $800 for their ceramic watches is beyond me, this watch was just over $400 shipped, although it has a low beat movement (which is also actually more accurate, in terms of its appearance) with a nice engraved rotor, which spins smooth and quiet...... Anyway, here are some pictures, keep clicking to expand! The ceramic is of a high quality, with a few marks here or there, but nothing major. The gold finish will never rub or wear off, or tarnish etc..... so in my book that is very cool indeed! The dial and crystal look really nice, a few specs of dust under there, but I have come to expect that from replicas nowadays, and can live with it..... The only downside for me is that I don't think I can afford to keep this watch, as things are tight this month. With another dentist appointment on the horizon, this will probably have to go to the sales forum soon Comments and observations welcome!

King has some different pictures of this watch: http://www.kingwatches.net/BREITLING-231.htm

Audemars Piguet Rubens Barrichello II
Mickey Padge replied to Mickey Padge's topic in The Audemars Piguet Area
No I did not lock the screws, they don't have a tendency to strip and fall out, they are in there pretty tight Just over tighten them, as then they will strip and need threadlocker -
A message of "AWAITING CUSTOMS CHARGES", does not necessarily mean you will incur a charge. If it says "RELEASED WITH CHARGES" next, then you 100% will...... It depends on the next message, it could easily just say "RELEASED FROM CUSTOMS", and then all is well with the world again

The crown is lower on the gen, but the rep makers have adjusted the crown guard/pushers well Genuine RBII: I actually think the rep crown position looks better! -
Looks good, glad to hear its resurrection is complete! My Rubens Barrichello is on my wrist today, I had it fully serviced and graphite treated, it runs like a champ now, with at least a 48 hour power reserve!

Pretty cool, nice find I use photoscape for editing all my photos, totally free too! http://www.photoscape.org/ps/main/index.php

Contact Tony, he will give you a better price I am sure..... As has been mentioned already, his website is not managed and/or updated as frequently as some of the forum recommended dealers we are used to
-
Strange, when I received a poor watch from him, I just sent it back for a direct replacement, the replacement was perfect! His website also offers a 3 month warranty, which is better than some trusted dealers..... Yes he will send pictures before shipment upon request, here are a couple of the watches I have purchased from him: http://www.rwg.cc/members/Rolex-Submariner...tml&hl=tony http://www.rwg.cc/members/ceramic-Rolex-Su...tml&hl=tony He takes PayPal, never asked about any other method. Tony is also very helpful when it comes to sourcing parts, and his prices are the best without a doubt..... Cheers!

Looks like Sead sent you a really nice watch, with well applied lume dots too! Enjoy!

It is a nice rig, with twin rads inside the case (240/360), and a laing pump, with two full covers on the 8800's. It can run quiet, or I can crank the fans up, depends on the ambient temps It's nice to build your own, but damn if I could have 5k to create a new PC, I would have so much fun!
-
You need to OC that bad boy! That is with my 4050Mhz Quad, 2GB RAM, and two 8800 ultras in SLI, all water cooled!

Michael Jacksons family have requested that the body be treated with great care, the coroner responded that he will handle MJ

Hey By-Tor, do you have a copy of Half life 2? If not let me know, as I have a spare copy on my Steam account I could gift you, that should test out your new system
-
Hey, hey calm down, calm down! Sorry couldn't resist

I noticed the same thing, and with my "macro" eyes it would probably bug me.... Never seen one in person though either, maybe it looks better when not blown up on a monitor screen?

Audemars Piguet Rubens Barrichello II

The AP was running fine before, but if any watch deserves a full service and graphite treatment, it's this one! I was worried the croc strap might be a bit too glossy, but when I paired them up, the result was good! -
Fully Modded Rubens Barrichello
Mickey Padge replied to mrbrown1's topic in The Audemars Piguet Area
I can live with my RBII "as is" I won't try to pass it of as genuine anyway, but if somebody starts to mass produce a decent modified plate, I would probably buy one...... -

Here is the same watch after a full service, and now on a strapluxe croc strap! Pictures, keep clicking to expand! While the rep strap is good, I really prefer this croc strap, it fits very well and makes the watch look much smarter... What do you guys think?
