  1. Thanks freddy333, for the price it is a steal! Really good quality, even when compared to the GMT2C, which I used to own By HEV do you mean helium release valve? Because there isn't one, I thought that was the SeaDweller only? Cheers!
  2. A delivery arrived for me today, from an off board dealer. Having seen some interesting posts and really reduced prices, I took the plunge with Tony from www.Asian7750.com..... I purchased a Rolex Submariner, with an Asian clone 2836 and a ceramic ceramic bezel for only $143.00! I really like the watch, check it out, what do you think? Click to expand: In case you are wondering, I brushed the bracelet, it came with polished mid links originally Tony is a good guy, I found him to be very helpful, but remember he is not a board sanctioned dealer! Cheers!
  3. Yep, The Zigmeister (or Watchdog?) removes the old lume upon request, I asked that he keep them as flat as possible too. Nice looking strap for a great price, I wonder if it could use the rep buckle? That is my main concern. I look forward to seeing some pictures from you soon, thanks!
  4. Thanks for the link, but I have had a chat with Stan, and all the 22mm style straps are out of stock Cheers!
  5. I have received my Breitling blacksteel back from The Zigmeister, and as usual his lume work looks fantastic! Aside from a couple of marks which I had to get removed from the dial, The Zigmeister did a great job, I am very happy. The watch glows really nice with the C1 lume, nice and flat too.... I am wearing the watch on a V1 rubber strap, as it is the correct size compared to the V2 strap and more flexible too... Pictures, click to expand! A sweet looking watch, but I am still not sure about the strap. I have looked for a black/red stitch strap, but had no luck. The HKTan strap is not my cup of tea, plus last time I tried to order something from him, I requested a refund after waiting three months or so Comments and observations welcome!
  6. Ah I see, I think the gen bezel would look best on the watch with the genuine dial though
  7. Nice trio Ever thought of installing a genuine bezel too? Would make a big difference to the overall appearance of the watch. I would install one on the BCE with the gen dial Cheers!
  8. Well it's one watch that should sell in a heartbeat if you really can't get along with it
  9. All 7750 based chronographs work that way, running seconds on one of the small subdials So chronographs are not for you then
  10. The subdial with running seconds at the 9 position will always run, the other two subdials (12 and 6 position) and the large central second hand should stop and reset to the 12 position and not move until you restart the chronograph..... Cheers!
  11. OK I will save you the time, it's a joke from a Simpsons episode
  12. Hehe, maybe if you googled them, all would become clear
  13. Always nice to have Pug around! Nothing wrong with embiggen, it's a perfectly cromulent word
  14. QUOTE: "Media buying and planning firm Initiative released the final and definitive World Cup viewing figures recently. Here are the stats: 284 million people watched the final 5.9 billion total viewers for the whole tournament 10% more total viewers than 2002 Average of 93 million viewers per match 41% of viewers were female" http://www.bloginitiative.com/ http://www.worldcupblog.org/world-cup-2006...ng-figures.html
  15. Looking good Seems the gen has a polished crown guard, not brushed? An easy fix though
  16. I did it with my Omega Chrono, do an advanced search for "Omega" adding my forum name too. I cannot copy paste links at the moment
  17. You're welcome That last shot really shows of the double AR
  18. Hehe, sorry my bad The logo appears like that on all the Pirelli watches I have seen Kind of reminds me of the Porsche Design Flat Six chronograph, there is a similar P on the crown.....
  19. I just noticed that the left and right sides of the case are made from titanium, sweet!
  20. No worries, I will do! Thanks to joefratguy, yes. He purchased it from blingdaily, and did not try to price it up at all, luckily I was the one who snatched it up. It is a great watch in it's own right, and deserves a wrist for a home
  21. Hehe, it tends to do that at 3'O clock on most watches I will take another picture for you in an hour or so
  22. I just received this gen Swiss 7750 Pirelli P-zero chronograph from joefratguy over on Repgeeks, and what a sweet watch it is! Best $300 or so I have ever spent! Came with full box and papers as this is a genuine watch, the tricky part was cutting the rubber strap to size, but I got that done and dusted without any issues.... Here are some pictures! Keep clicking to expand! A stunning watch, it even has double AR. I can't believe some peeps in the original sales thread were thinking of using it as a donor watch, to cannibalize the Swiss 7750 movement! Thanks joefratguy for sending me a great watch!
  23. Have a peak here: http://www.cousinsuk.com/searchresults.asp...ext=date_3_7750 Valjoux 7750 2557.1 Date Indicator 3 o'clock Black Numbers on White Background Part: VAL775025571BW3 Cheers!
