  1. Thanks for all your input guys, much appreciated! Well I sized the bracelet, and am wearing the watch now. It's too nice to sell, no matter how much I could use the cash! Cheers!
  2. This is the Asian clone, not bad at all for just over $200 Seems to have blue lume too! The hands and pearl seem bluer than the hour markers, which seem a tad greener, or turquoise..... I had to tweak the photo a bit, the camera sees the hour lume bluer than it is to my eye, for some reason....
  3. Just picked this up from Tony at www.asian7750.com, not an affiliated dealer, but seems to send out great watches I had the black dial version of this watch, and I posted a thread about it here: http://www.rwg.cc/members/Rolex-Submariner...p;hl=submariner This blue version seems better, especially the pearl. Plus it is not a fantasy Rolex, it has been released, here are some pictures..... As you can see, a really nice watch! You may notice I have kept the plastic on the bracelet, due to me being skint, this may have to go straight onto the sales forum, but I really don't want too! Comments and observations welcome!
  4. Great write up as always, and a sweet watch, congrats!
  5. Fantastic looking watch, and yes Avitt is a true gent I actually like the steel crown, nice contrast
  6. Just picked up a new strap Sunset lighting picture!
  7. Great BK, thanks again! This watch will look superb with a little TLC from you!
  8. WOW BK! I never knew they could be fixed, that is great news! I notice there is no etched Rolex on the crystal, and it has a thick profile, does my watch have a clarks crystal? Cheers and thanks for the good news!
  9. Thanks guys, my trusty Sony P101 may be an old camera, but it seems to do OK with macro shots
  10. Hehe, most F1 drivers are small, it is actually an advantage to be small in F1
  11. Thanks guys The strap is comfy, I just bent the deployant so it has more curve
  12. Yes I have a 6.5" wrist The only difference is the crown and chrono pushers are larger, the actual case construction seems the same. Obviously the watch is much lighter, due to the Ti and ceramic materials used I find it more balanced on the wrist than the steel ROO
  13. Just picked up this Audemars Piguet Rubens Barrichello from Precioustime. As usual faultless service from PT, and great quality control, this watch is spotless The construction of this watch is first class, the titanium and ceramic really compliment each other well. Even the strap is of high quality, an area where the rep factories sometimes forget about.... Anyway, on to the pictures, click to expand! A fantastic watch, I am very happy with it. What's more it is keeping crazy accurate time, and the case back gasket was greased. The rotor spins quietly too, anyone would think this watch has been serviced! As for the dial, and the missing gears on the back plate, it really does not concern me, I can't pull this off as genuine anyway, as it would probably cost $60-70 K new Thanks for looking, comments and observations welcome!
  14. You and me both! That is one reason why wearing black dial Subs just irks me. This Yachtmaster is a relief to wear! I am glad the Sea-Dweller has no date mag, as I know it will find my wrist for that reason alone WM9 is the best bar none with Rolex reps without a doubt, now if he could just place those hour markers with a little more care......
  15. Thanks By-Tor, I am wearing it now. I think it will find my wrist a great deal, so much for just special occasions! I can't wait for the WM9 Sea-Dweller to finalise now, should be a sweet watch I hope! Glad I got on board that train at the first station One thing I should mention is the date mag and having to clean the crystal. With a black dial Rolex, I am forever cleaning around the date mag, as it really shows up marks there. The Yachtmasters plat dial hides all those smudges and smears, so I find myself at ease while wearing it, not fussing over the crystal I am a sucker for "clean" watches, but I stop short of carrying a micro fibre cloth Cheers!
  16. Lume shot! I only cropped the image, nothing more. Standard exposure, no tricks
  17. Yes, I think if the spacer ring can be made with the same exact tolerances, in volume and fast, then you could sell that individual part on the boards. It would then be up to each member to create the sandwich date wheel with there local modder..... Great stuff, it will make such a big difference to many watches. Do we have one installed in a watch yet? To see what it looks like?
  18. I posted something similar to this idea here: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?s=&amp...st&p=639537 Fantastic to see it actually works! Amazing work as always Francisco I have a feeling this mod may be too time consuming and expensive to offer on the boards maybe?
  19. The case has straight, hard, sharp lines yes, not rounded off
  20. Hi Homer! Nice shots there, you can see why I was compelled to buy!
  21. Yes the watch has good lug space and strap clearance Here is a very quick, dirty profile shot, got to get to work! Cheers!
  22. I am partial to sterile PAM's, they don't have any flaws or any (gen) expectations to live up too, which is a very nice option to have when choosing what to wear.... This just arrived from Homer (exclusive_watches_inc on ebay) and it is a really well made PAM, I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of the watch Originally it came with a brown faux croc strap, but I have a nice smooth black DSN strap installed instead, here are some pictures! Nice, simple and clean. The sapphire crystal has a slight purple AR, and the white dial has a faint pearly quality about it. What do you guys think? Yay or nay? Cheers!
