All i can say MBW 1680 or 1665 where never powered by a miyoto movement... Not the first ones not the present ones.... Sometimes they come with ETA 2846 but never with miyota movements... By the way the CN 1680 is a bad copy of the MBW... Most MBW cases are 440 Steel not 316L with is much easier to work on...

The genuine Rolex bracelet looks also very cheap and light. They made them hollow for comfort wearing. The Steel on genuine Rolex watches is 906L...

@TTK Is there an other bracelet with folded endlink on your MBW 1680? Are the centerlink hollow,thats where an improvment for this nice watch... On mine there was a massive Band..

In most of your points you are right,but on older MBW cases the Rehaut look like on gen ones straight.....

I know the story and i know Bodo personally. Bad but i think Bodo didn't know about his 1680 its not a MBW... I think he is a trustfull guy,never a problem with him. And the Sets are fantastic,look at my watches...

Hi, i think the Modern Mbw 16610 is not perfect but the best base for some modding. Oem parts won't fit at the first step,for Tube and crown you must drill the hole in the case and retap. Gen Insert won't fit you must grind down the Insert or the bezel.... The Bracelet has no hollow midlinks like gen.... The Datedisknumbers are too fat,magnification about 3x... But rehaut is damm good if you can catch a cylindrical one... Bezel assembly is better than on CN-Subs... Casematerial is better,i think 440er steel So you can see not the holy grail,but for a Franken a good choice,you can get even a TW best is also great.... Hope this helps

I think the 16800 has the new style Bezel... it has a saphire glas but the old tritium dial... There are some modells with newer dial like the new one... The Insert is the same than on modern modells... Only to clarify....
