  1. The crown and Tube Set from Bodo are damm great... The Tubes came as a lot pack from the Manufacture that sells the genuine ones. I have compared them to a really gen one and they are the same.. Crowns are gen.... I have them on all my Rollies...
  2. And again, thats all acrylic pearls with no surrounding...
  3. The 1665 needs a Insert with Acrylic pearl ! Thats the only solution for a Vintage Rolex.... No ringed pearl or wahtever..
  4. Gen ones do not go to the end of the holes, believe me...
  5. Great work Fantastic, i love it Thats a great how to do Tutorial for the selfmodders... I also have a 5513 in the pipeline.... I'll show it the next time...
  6. By the way, on the new MBW 16610 the rehaut is Damm good but more conical than cylindrical (as it shut be).. Look at Chieftangs Sub or mine you can see the difference... The cylindrical shape is near to Gen...
  7. ... and i love your 16610 too Chieftang I think the Lugholes give this watch some special Mine is an oold MBW Case, but i think the TW with lugholes came from the same production.. When somebody can get on of this cases,he is a lucky guy... Damm great work Chief
  8. Man thats an investment in for the future... Think about the costs for Rolex Modells over the years...
  9. Jepp its easy.... To become the Engravings more deeper and a little bit vintage, polish the caseback engraving...
  10. I also think the Noobmariner Dial is a better one... But back to the question... First you need the MBW 16610.... what ever you paid Than some parts... Tube and Crown about 50- 80 Euros Gen Insert about 50 and 70 Euros Noob Dial Noob Bracelet Maybe the Noob caseback I think buy a Perfect Sub from Paul, its not expensive and Eta powered, same as the Noob Sub for about 125 Euros.. Than the mods begin You need to drill the Tubehole to the right dimension... But caution there is no place for mistakes.... Than make a countersink and retap the hole with a rolex tapping tool Than it looks like this After that you can install the tube and crown... If you need you can make some work on the CG's You must change the Dial and the datewheel the MBW is not good printed in my opinion... If you can catch a gen one take it... For the insert, there are two solutions...Grind down the gen Insert (Don't damage it) or better grind down Insert a liitle bit and the Bezel. Than the Insert snaps in like Gen... Maybe you must change the crystal because the mag is about 3X After this work put your hands on the Noobbracelet, the SEL's must be shaped a littlebit at the ousides to fit the MBW case... than you have a nice Frankensub...
  11. """The bracelet is a hollow mid link one, but not the correct one of course. We do know that too.""" Comes the bracelet with the watch?
  12. Keep your watch I think find a other solution it the best way...
  13. Nice work Want to see the final watch....
  14. Yepp, i told him about it. The bezel insert assembly is the same as genuine, everything will be made according to genuine ... he told me..
  15. Good News, i talked to Angus,he has a gen SD for replication and compare the whole watch... He told me it comes in about two month
  16. Yepp, i know, but have you seenn this pics? I think Angus will do it right.....
  17. seems Angus is envolved in a nice modern SD project look here.. Modern SD
  18. Fantastic DW's Super clean watches.. I love them.................. Congrats to this beauties.....
  19. I think the 4 numbers of the caseback indicates the last for numbers of the refnumber of the case. For the 1665 there is no other shape on the caseback i think
  20. i trhink he mean witth comex number engraving on the caseback.. Look here...
  21. Man you kill me Fantastic job... Buy the way you need a silver datewheel and i know a source...
