  1. Nice new addition Lanikai!
  2. Nice collection D, the box looks great too!
  3. Great story Nanuq! Good sales folks don't judge people by their appearance.
  4. 6152 on a Zuegma strap today
  5. Very nice collection Kruzer, thanks for sharing!
  6. A few Snowflakes in the forecast today
  7. I'm thinking the same thing, they're aftermarket and not gen end links. Tribal has the best idea if the lug holes are indeed off. Good luck there!
  8. Believe it or not Stephane, as much of a Rolex nut as I am -I don't own one The only modern Rolex I used to own some 10+ years ago was a gen GMT II.
  9. Looking good! Maybe a little more patina to the hands to even them out with the dial indices, trim down the CG's a bit more and a genuine lume pearl.
  10. RH, FYI, if those are the CWP hands they won't fit an ETA movement, they're made for Rolex 15xx movements and are a totally different size. You can get similar hands from MkII Watches for an ETA, but only in white lume.
  11. That looks like my best option for a dial with this case, if I can ever find a MBK 1675
  12. XRT, I'm very jealous of your collection! Saabin built a 6542 with the same Paul case. Great results! I've been trying to build a 1675 with the Silix watch too. The case seems to be the correct thickness -or should I say thiness. The lug holes are okay drilled out, they are ever so slightly a bit to the outer edge. I'll try and snap some updated pix in the next few days. Here' an old pix before I worked on the lug holes and case, the bezel is next. The darn case won't take a gen dial though
  13. It really depends on your budget RH. A gen will go up in value, a rep won't. I can tell you the Snowflake models are going for more than the standard sub dialed Tudors, but I still see some selling for under $2000 on timezone occasionally. Condition, how original the parts are and accessories play a big part in the cost too. The crystal looks fine on the ebay auction, perhaps just a swap of the hands. If you look around and are patient you can find a gen set of axe hands.
  14. RH, Jewelyandwatch is probably your only option for a replica snowflake. For genuine sites; either vintage rolex forum or timezone are best bets. If you want a gen get it now, they keep going up. I guess I'm insane too. My gen 7016/0 and franken Monte Carlo
  15. Kicking it off early. Friday -the old Saturday -the new Sunday -my little buddy
  16. Early birds indeed! I'm feeling like the gilt 5513 tomorrow.
  17. I'm sorry to hear your sad news Sql!
  18. Choices, choices for the weekend... Today was Monte Carlo day
  19. The 187 hulk today. Is the crystal missing or is that the Chieftang double AR Tomorrow
  20. Thanks for the compliment L, I appreciate it and glad you enjoy them!
  21. Still breaking in this new addition Tomorrow
  22. Mezz, were you thinking of an NDT 1675 case for a GMT? Maybe it's just the photos but the crown guards look like a sub and seem way off. Maybe there'll be a rev2 on it with improvements. Until then I'm stuch with my budget Silix 1675, I just have to work on the bezel now and that's about as much time and energy I want to spend on that piece.
  23. UJ, that is the 6542 that was made for PanAm desk pilots, something like 100 pieces made -don't quote me on that number. Truly a Holy Grail for collectors. I think think Michael Young at CWP would make that dial for you and NDT sells the case. Not sure what movement would fit though?? -someday!
