  1. I'm totally confused I didn't see the original picture.
  2. Today, my franken 1655 -it's finally done
  3. Doxa's are very cool and still reasonable! They were allegedly the first diver to offer an orange dial
  4. Thanks Freddy, I agree the T21 is really striking on the vintage Daytona's.
  5. Thank you my friend, I'm jealous of your collection!
  6. Great post Vic, a subject I'm kinda interested in
  7. I'd be in for the metal version An overlay is problematic with GMT (4 hand styles), a Ubi one would not fit in my 1655 -just not enough clearance in there.
  8. How about a little vintage Explorer II -another project nearing completion
  9. Hi PF, That sucks! I hate it when projects don't quite come together, believe me I know It seems most non-MBW sub reps have larger dials. A gen 1680 dial is 27mm+ and 5513 26mm. I had the same issue wanting to put a gen 1680 dial into the MBK/MBW 1680 case (branded 5513 and takes a 26mm dial). I decided I didn't want to risk trimming down a gen dial for what it cost me.
  10. Today for the weekend, maybe these two:
  11. Opps, I was trigger happy Rosnik -I meant to hit agree. Surprising, as this seller always lists a bunch of gens and movements.
  12. I exchanged some emails with him about parts a few weeks ago no probem. Once in a while you have to ping him back for an answer but he always replies.
  13. VJ23's are harder to come by than VJ72's. If you hunt enough you can find one between $350-$500. I lucked out and got a very nice one without any branding on the bridge on ebay for $350. Good luck in your search!
  14. Sweet, looks like a rail dial too!
  15. I agree Stephane, why does it have to be either or! Frankly, I'm partial to Red myself.
  16. Hi Euno, Still a work in progress and slow at that. I'm hoping it will be completed before the end of the year. Thanks for asking.
  17. Juca, I'd check with "Saabin" here on the forum he had some in the member trade area and it's the proper original style with the straight edge, not the replacement beveled version.
  18. Jinx Euno! I haven't worn my Type I'ish in some time either.
  19. This was purchased from another forum member, pretty sure it's original but unsure if it was modded. It does seems like the surface was brushed again since you can hardly see the pin that holds the lever in place.
  20. 5218/201A and 6152 are my favs. I have to echo what a pleasure he is to deal with; I've bought quite a few parts from him too and he often sends multiples or does it gratis -he knows how to do business! Can't wait to have his latest version dial dropped in this baby
  21. Try and get your money back ASAP. Good luck, I hope it ends up okay
