  1. Tough call there, it's very understated as it is but not be able to read the time would drive me nuts after a while. Regardless, that movement is superb!
  2. Have good time guys!!! I'm not going to be able to make a GTG this week
  3. Well I didn't give up on the 5517 entirely, here's a teaser of yet another work in progress.
  4. Today Tomorrow Sunday -I can't think that far ahead

:yucky: It doesn't do anything for me.
  6. Thanks The Zigmeister, always great to see your takedown/repair posts. It reminds me of my first gen Rolex purchase nearly 20 years ago; a 1940's manual "Army" model, that watch is so tiny my wife wears it now.
  7. K, The fees vary based upon your method of payment, dollar amount and where you're based, take a look at their website. It's certainly less than WU.
  8. He does K, I just bought a dial from him about a week ago.
  9. Nice review Andrew! I am personally not a fan of fantasy watches either but I really enjoy mine and it always puts a grin on my face when I flip it over to glance at the movement.
  10. You have great taste Baltic!
  11. Looks great to me Slai! IMHO a black strap is too predictable and tans too stark a contrast.
  12. Welcome back with the live wristies V! Wow, a Rolex I spy on your wrist
  13. My one and only Omega -The Speedmaster
  14. My DSN 201A on PAV 90 will get some wrist time until it gets the dial swapped for a better one.
  15. Saturday Sunday
  16. That is just nutty what it's up to!!!
  17. Thursday
  18. Thanks for the kind compliment Victoria and to be included in such distinguished company!
  19. Thinking more about it, BT has a really good point... less is more. The old KISS principle.
  20. Where are you guys thinking of meeting up, sounds like fun! A little south of SR would work better for me too.
  21. LR, If your talking vintage; gen 1680 dials do not fit in MBW/MKB's without trimming it down a little, it's about 1mm too large if you're thinking about a date sub. No date dials are 26mm and drops right in. Along the lines of TWS said, Clarks on ebay sells very accurate ETA sub hands. Good luck!
  22. Wed.
  23. Pretty easy (and boring I know); mostly Vintage Rolex sports models and a smattering of new and old Panerai.
