  1. Those are sweet CJ, the 6's and 9's look great. Thanks for sharing! I can't quite tell, do they have the signature Enzo acrylic filled numbers?
  2. Today my DW 6263 with a VJ23 Sunday
  3. Hi Freddy, It's an MBK/MBW 1680(5513).
  4. DD -keep us posted on your project! PF -I certainly think the no date subs are more balanced and love them as well. This gets more wrist time then most of my gens or reps. Funny you mention a 5517... -Stay tuned TWS -Thanks for the kudos, a date model vintage would sure make a nice trio for your collection. Actually the insert has a cracked, worn down, dirty dot on it already , it's hard to see in my pix. As for the hands, I'll see what The Zigmeister can whip up! But my vision would be a well used look with the dark lines you see collected on the edges of the lume where it meets the metal of the hands. PP -on my cursory pass with the dial inserted in the case it fit fine, I guess if it needs shaving I'll cross that road when I get there. And yes please PM with the your technique for the hands, I'm all ears -your work is always impressive!
  5. Hi N, This wasn't exactly building a project from all spare parts like your most recent pair , but it was a fair deal on this gen dial and said what the heck this would be an easy project to put together.
  6. Hi DD, Using a 2846 slow beat I have sitting around and some aged Clarks Tudor Sub hands, I think they look better than the MBK hands.
  7. The gen dial plus a 5517 project gone awry really brought this together. Thanks to Saabin for the deal on the original NOS T127!
  8. The bottom one today
  9. I'm with Nanuq on this one! Even my gen 70's Tudor Sub is selling on average for ~$500 more than it was a year ago. I'll bet TTK or other members here who live in or frequent Thailand could point you to some good places to shop for gen vintages.
  10. Mezz, Here's a source to try for the insert Gen insert If you want a more period correct 93150 bracelet, you can see if TTK can get you an MBW version, but I don't know what the cost will be??? The new MBW bracelets (at least the one on my 1665 from this May) are the best I've seen and have correct end links without the springbar cutouts. If TTK can't help you Josh usually sells the 93150 fliplock separately for about $45. Happy hunting!
  11. count me in too!
  12. Hi P. I think a 6542 and it looks like it's been redialed already. Unfortunately I have no advice on a safe way to clean it.
  13. Predfan, Here's an option for you, I know this is a date model dial but it is a gen Tudor and a deal.

Ragsy, You can still find some between $450-$600 on Timezone, but you have to check often and move quick because they go fast. One the Bay the $600-$800 is about the range. Good luck!
  15. Victoria, that is most definitely what I meant. That's my chubster of an 8 month old.
  16. What I'd like to carry daily And reality
  17. Very nice job N. Do you think a little more case aging might balance it out with the patina of the dial? You might consider a Zeugma Strap like this, or GeF is makes a GPF repro buckle strap -it would complete it.
  18. Congrats Nanuq! The jubilee bracelet couldn't be more at home than on a Pepsi GMT

Very nice Nanuq. You had me there for a minute, with the recent gems you've acquired lately...

Nanuq strikes again! I think we have another gen added to the lineup I can't wait to see the flip side.
  21. Gio, It sounds like you've got a good itineray going for London. I'm not sure if you're a cigar smoker but I can't think of a better way to compliment a great meal, than to follow it up with some Cubans. Desmond Sautters (on Mount Street) humidor has a wonderful selection of the best Cuban smokes. A custom pair of shoes or boots from Lobb mght be a nice treat too I've only done the touristy things in Paris, so no advice for you there. Have a nice time!
  22. Erwinner, Davidsen sells a pretty nice logo/branded pre-v style.
  23. Today, an actual wrist shot and not a stock photo
  24. Doc, ask time_holder on the bay ~$100, he'll usually sell them separately from the bezel assembly. I believe they are gen, if his complete inserts aren't they're the best I've seen and have a gen pearl.
  25. Nice Laz, keep us posted on the progress. Tribal, those are the end links that seem to come on MBK/MBW (whatver you want to call them) now.
