  1. Yep, it's his standard case, but reworked a bit.
  2. Josh case reworked and drilled for gen spring bars New DG 2813 movement from Ofrei Gen crown on WSO tube Yuki Dial MBW bezel and crystal retaining ring with aged insert Clark crystal Rep 93150 bracelet with WSO 580 endlinks and gen spring bars
  3. Looking for a creamy tan color. Any ideas? Thanks. Marty
  4. I thought I was missing something too ...
  5. Is this all I need? Where can I buy some nice straps? http://apbands.com/shop/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=APB-ROO-CONV&Category_Code=CONVKITS&Product_Count=0 Thanks. Marty
  6. Was looking at some Yuki dials for my Josh 1680/5512 case. I'm tired of messing with date wheel overlays. They are the bane of my existence. What's the best and/or most realistic combo for this case? Thanks. Marty
  7. I may have one. If I can find it, it's yours. Send me your address.
  8. No sharp edges, the end links fit nice and tight, the clasp closes correctly with a nice positive click and there are no problem with the bracelet screws.
  9. I'm in for a few of these and would contribute to fund the project. I may even have someone that can print them. Please shoot me a PM.
  10. It's good. I haven't been able to charge it in daylight yet, but it looks to be super luminova to me.
  11. I ordered this in place of my Explorer II 216570, which I finally gave up on. I didn't think I would like it or keep it. Out of all the brands, I think Breitling is the one of the toughest to replicate. They have a look and fit/finish that I've never seen duplicated convincingly. Everything is right about this one. They nailed the feel of the bezel, the look of the AR, the high polish on the case, the bracelet fit and finish. It's about perfect. I'm sure you could nitpick and find something off a bit, but I'm not sure why you would buy the gen. It's really that good
  12. It's the camera angle. Most of the heavy lifting was done when I got this one. I am only putting on the finishing touches
  13. Josh case reworked and crown turned down, relumed MBW dial and hands, MBW bezel and crystal retaining ring, Clark crystal (gen on order), WSO 580 endlinks and gen spring bars ... more to follow

  15. It's been a while since I've done a 1680 build and need some help with this one. If anyone has a good spare, I'm interested in buying it. Thanks. Marty
  16. I have a 702 crown and tube in good condition. What is its approximate value? Thanks. Marty
  17. I need one to complete a project. Thanks! Marty
  18. Given the basic design of the watch, how many variations are possible? What would you like to see?
  19. Will you have any problems re-installing these parts? I was under the impression that powder coating is a fairly thick finish.

    My Dad

I'm sorry to hear about your dad. I lost my dad a year and a half ago. Although every situation is different, I can understand the pain you are feeling. I think we all were elevated in some way, by things our dad's did or didn't do for our benefit and deflated by other things. My dad wasn't perfect, but he was one of the most important things in my life. Please try to make your peace if you haven't done so already and tell your dad that everything is ok. Time does heal all wounds and has a way of making bad things seem not so bad and good things seem even better. My thought and prayers are you, your dad and your family. Marty
