Thanks for the kind words. I've been toying with building a Yuki 1680 with a gen 1570, but I'm not sure if it's worth the money. It would cost me $2,000 for the case with a movement and Yuki dial and hands. Add on a gen crystal, crown/tube, insert and bracelet and you are into it for $3,000. Add a gen dial, which you really need and it jumps to $3,500. I have most of the parts on the MBW (less the insert, which is incoming) and a gen bracelet, but it's still a big investment. I think I will be sticking with the MBW for now

Like denniboss said, it looks like the numbers on the rep bezel are further apart.

The best hand set would be gen Tudor hands. I use Clark hands, which In my opinion are fine.

Could moisture getting into the case cause that to happen?

Did you take a cheese grater to that crystal?

I've owned a few and all came with white date wheels.

This is a Eurotimez DW. It's very nice with flat 3's, open 6's and 9's and the right size font, which centers well in the date window, but the silver finish is polished and very reflective. I don't think it's usable as is. I sprayed the overlay with flat clear lacquer and got this result, which I think is very good. It's not a brushed finish, but my eyes aren't that good enough to see the brushing anyway

Other than a gen dial, which I won't use, because it's going in an MBW case and needs to be shaved down, what are my options? I have been looking at Yuki. Is there anything better out there? Thanks. Marty
