  1. I've bought them from a number of ebay sellers. I think these came from Wholesaleoutlet. http://cgi.ebay.com/SPRING-BAR-ROLEX-SUBMARINER-GMT-20MM-S-S-PARTS-/310191796945?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4838df32d1
  2. Gen Tropic 116, case drilled and gen spring bars installed
  3. Just saw the 188H is on Josh's site. Is this a new release or did I just miss it? http://www.1-pc8838.com/0000pn18801-188h-daylight-chrono-ssle-white-asian-7753-p-9173.html
  4. Taking the wife to NYC for our 1st wedding anniversary. I need dinner reservations for Sat night. Any thoughts? I am looking for some place that is special and not a tourist trap. Steak and seafood would be good Thanks. Marty
  5. So far, so good. I need to touch up the CG's, but I'm looking for a gen crown/tube before I do that. The gen crystal makes a lot of difference and the bracelet makes much less noise with the gen spring bars installed. I'm happy with the dial and hands for now. At some point, I would like to source a different second hand and figure out a way to tone down the GMT hand.
  6. Case drilled and gen spring bars installed.
  7. The dial would most likely fit, but you would have to cut off the feet. The hands are a different size. You may or may not be able to broach them to fit.
  8. Where can I get a good second hand? Also, has anyone tried to fit gen spring bars in the bracelet?
  9. The date wheel has a nice font and is well centered. It is supposed to be silver, but looks white to me. The magnification is low. It definitely needs a gen crystal.
  10. More pics ... sorry, these are from my Blackberry. ETA version ...
  11. I think it's a great starting point. I am going to add a gen crystal and drill the lugs. I will add a gen crown and tube at some point, but it is not a weak point. The GMT hand is very orange. I would call it fluorescent. It there were a way to tone it down a little, I would do that. In my opinion, the dial is very well done. The fact that the markers touch the rehalt, make it for me. I like the folded link bracelet a lot. It is light and very comfortable to wear. The end links fit very well. Any other questions ... please ask
  12. QC pic with rep crystal Gen Tropic 116 installed. The magnification on the rep crystal is weak. This makes the watch
  13. Granulated charcoal would probably do a better job. You can buy it at any pet supply store (used in aquariums).
  14. I think he's the new version of the carl900
  15. Guys, I was looking at the date window. It looks a little on the small side to me and you can't tell from the pics if it's beveled or not. I was thinking about ordering a Yuki dial. I know it's not perfect, but I've handled one in the past and it is very nice. I may swap it out? Your thoughts?
  16. What's up with the CG lever? It sticks out pretty far and it looks like you can see the hole for the pin.
  17. Did you use a gen 116 or one from Clark?
  18. I was happy to see the orange hand too and the dial is a big improvement
