  1. Ubi, What kind of hands did you use? Thanks. Marty
  2. Yep, for my 7032. The case set is en-route from Spin. This was an eBay find in Portugal. Got it in a week I was very happy that it has the 45 minute counter I found this little beauty too!
  3. No one mentioned that it weighed two pounds What a great rep. I couldn't be happier ...
  4. Does anyone know what this is for?
  5. Tracking numbers (especially customs) get reused. It could be that this is not your package (at least the 9/14 part that originated in CA). It looks like the package left the US on 10/7 through Jamaica, NY, which would be correct. I bet it shows up in Canada over the next couple of days. Marty
  6. Check out #7. I would like to see the boys in US customs open one of these Items Prohibited for Posting 1Goods prohibited from circulating or posting by law. 2Dangerous goods, such as explosive, flammable, corrosive, radioactive and poisonous substances. 3Illegal or coprological publications 4Currency 5Insanitary substances 6Goods liable to decay 7Live animals except bee, silkworm, leech. 8Goods that may threat human health, contaminate or ruin equipments or other mails, if packed improperly. 9Other goods unsuitable for post service
  7. I think this is a great mod, but now the height of date window looks too big to me. The width looks perfect. Why not cut the feet off the dial and then center the date in the window? You could use dial dots to reattach the dial.

  9. Jack, Shoot me a PM if you want to try the ewatchparts bezel set. I have one that is new and unused. Marty
  10. In my opinion, he is one of the best dealers on RWG.
  11. I measured the rep crown at 5.8 mm, give or take a tenth of a mm or so. A gen 1675 crown is 5.3 mm and gen Datejust crown is 6 mm. Which one should I get? Thanks. Marty
  12. I really don't think you will have much luck bending the CG. Maybe I am missing something, but wouldn't it be easier to shorten the length of the crown tube (and possibly the stem), so the crown sat slightly closer to the case? This would take the pressure off the CG lever, which would keep it from being pushed out.
  13. Only $100 ... http://forums.timezone.com/index.php?t=tree&goto=5286858&rid=560
  14. Did you get the black dial or blue? I am thinking that I should have went with the destro version. Marty
  15. Pre-order price was $750. Regular price is $900. Includes the bracelet and rubber strap.
  16. Here are the specs. No Miyota in this one ... Some specifications: Monobloc case: Brushed 316L surgical stainless steel

  18. Contact Ken about this. I was going to trade him my Bk/WM9 for the SO and never got a tracking number from texas. I got lucky. My wife was mailing my watch for me and the PO closed before she got there. She saved me a grand.
  19. I started with an awl to slightly widen the hole and then used an old #55 (sorry, it was a #46 or #47) drill bit to finish the job. The #55 is the size to drill the lugs.
  20. Sorry guys, was in NYC for the weekend. To answer your questions ... I use a table top drill press. If you ever plan on drilling more than one set of holes, it's worth it. If not, drop me a line and I can drill them for you Yes, as Tribal said, you do need to open the end links for the gen spring bars. I did not have to cut mine to open them. You can easily replace the crystal with out disassembling the watch. I use Snap On #55 cobalt bits.
