  1. A little bit metallic, but definitely like chicken
  2. Has anyone else noticed that when you bake FGD hands, it pretty much kills the lume? This is a good thing if you are going for any aged tritium look. Marty
  3. I hope you're not thinking about using that time machine again
  4. I think it's about 10 years old. The first batch of re-editions had just Heuer on the dial. Later on, they switched to the Tag Heuer dial.
  5. I love the design. If feels a little small now, but I still love it
  6. We had three hobbies that we shared; watches, tropical fish keeping and gardening. He taught me the ropes about fish and gardening and I taught him about watches. He never took to the internet, so I had to find everything for him

  8. Nope, just order one and this is what I got. Keep in mind that I reworked the pin and re-brushed it. Other than that, it was this good out of the box. 9. I think it would be. I had to do quite a bit of grinding to fit the lever to the crown I am using, which reminds me of T's current shallow dish crown.
  10. It really nicely made. The lever is nice and tight and the fit and finish is as good as, if not better than my Snembo. It also fit tight against the case without any modding.
  11. it's from the seller in TX on eBay. I think it's the same as a Torobravo. I was surprised how nice it is.
  12. It's a 112 now, but I am building an 201a with a FGD dial using this case. I installed the new CG this morning
  13. I getting ready to lume my FGD 201a dial. Are these pics a good representation as to what the dial lume looks like (being darker than the hands)?
  14. i used to think that was the dial reflecting off of the crystal
  15. He's my least favorite Bond, but it's a great watch.
  16. http://www.hodinkee.com/blog/2010/9/27/exclusive-james-bonds-rolex-pre-daytona-for-sale-a-real-bond.html
  17. It is an instant favorite of mine. The sunburst pattern on the dial is fantastic.
  18. This is really well made. A big improvement over the M6 that I owned for a while. It's hard to capture the finish on the dial. It's really nice
  19. Put a post up here. Someone will be able to help you. http://www.thewatchsite.com/index.php/board,34.0.html?PHPSESSID=0e67d73e93932167e9aa3bf0158cbd27
