    Hair loss

My take is that you had what you had. Leave it alone
  2. As some of you know, my dad passed away a week ago. I found his old digital Seiko in one of his "junk" drawers. I just finished fixing it up. I didn't want to over restore it. I think it turned out great Before After
  3. My email is mdippel@comcast.net

  4. I'm still toying with the gen clasp idea, but I think it looks pretty good. My wrist is about 7.5", so I needed to use one of the extenders. Marty
  5. This is my dad's watch. As some of you know, he passed away last Thursday. Needless to say, the watch has a lot of sentimental value. I need to find someone to restore it. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Marty
  6. Thank you to everyone. Your thoughts and prayers mean everything to me. If you haven't already done so, please give you parents a call to say hello. Go see them if you can and cherish the time you have with them. Marty
  7. I have to agree, even modded, the rep clasp is pretty much a POS. I am going to order the gen on Monday.
  8. Guys, My dad passed away this afternoon. He is in a better place now. I loved him very much. Marty
  9. Having the worst week of my life and you made me smile Thanks and welcome back. Marty
  10. Guys, This the first opportunity that I have had to write. Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes. The sense of friendship and community here is overwhelming to me. I've learned more about strokes in the past three days, than I ever thought I would want or need to know. Needless to say, this has been devastating to me and my family. My dad's stroke was massive. It involved a blockage to middle cerebral artery. To add insult to injury, there was hemorrhaging after the initial stroke. The Neurologist, who I really like, called it a perfect storm. Regrettably, my dad already takes coumadin, which is a powerful blood thinner, so the clot busting drugs you hear about could not be used. Now only time will tell. There is still swelling in his brain and his condition is deteriorating. Things don't look good. The only blessing is that he is non-responsive and doesn't know what is happening. In tribute to my dad, I am wearing one of his favorite watches, a gen Omega Seamaster, 2254.50. My dad didn't baby his watches. He certainly didn't own any winder queens. It's one of my favorites. I hope you like it. Marty
  11. Guys, My dad, who is a fellow watch collector and even dabbled in the rep world, had a massive stroke last night. He is my best friend. It doesn't look good. Your thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Marty
  12. Bake at 450 - 500 degrees for 5 to 15 minutes ... til golden brown (or what ever color you want). Your actual results will vary depending on your oven temperature, size and bake time
  13. As does Josh's and anyone else who carries V2.
  14. Not sure what you are talking about. There are posts about the tear down and follow up after the movement had been running for a week. http://www.rwgforum....__1#entry891959
  15. Is it worth the money? Thanks. Marty
