  1. The case has an 18k gold stamp on it...just melt it down and make a killing!
  2. used YM seem to go for less and less on the used forums these days. you can find an excellent condition YM with box and papers in the 5500 range. The investment in a Wm9 plus the gen parts, by my own estimate of what it would cost to get my own BK wm9 to super franken territory, would be in the $4500 range....if I ever think about it I just look at TRF for 10 minutes and realize if I ever get crazy I'll sell my wm9 and go gen
  3. not sure if you're looking for volunteers or advice about watch smiths. In the latter category, in the CONUS, you have Vac, Speedy and Rex. Vac can be found on this forum. Rex and Speedy can be found on the Geek. I've used all three for various jobs and they are all fantastic.
  4. the most orange-est of orange today
  5. Pumpkin UPO on Narikaa leather today
  6. got the ol GMTIIc on today
  7. wearing the 06 CD, still trying to figure out if I like it or not. I picked it over the slevin because i wanted the bigger watch, but I'm giving it every chance
  8. I love my railmaster XXL, a guy at work told me yesterday "Flava Flav called and wants his necklace back!" the biggest disappointed for me was the noobmariner as well, for all the reasons listed, too cheap feeling. I do have two other rollies now, which i love, the Milgauss GV and the GMTIIc both great watches!
  9. It is a true shame they can't properly rep the 7-day porto, what a great looking watch
  10. It can be somewhat pricey, send concepta a PM, but I think you'll be surprised. And if you ever need to sell it, just send me a PM, I'll take it off your hands. My advice would be make sure the porto chrono is what you actually want before you invest in a concepta. he can also get genuine movements for 3719 and 3717. Both are awesome watches, but not as in need of a quality movement to be a daily wearer as the 3714, due to the Sec @ 6 kiss of death.
  11. sorry to break up the rollie party, and for the bad cell phone pic, but this is what I have on today
  12. I'll have to check it out, thanks for the tip
  13. Did you ever hear from him? possibly with any info about the differences between the two versions, I've only ever heard of one version of this watch Joe
  14. And if I'm based in the US, who would you recommend? thanks, joe
