  1. Ok, I'll start off with what is probably going to be one of my very last rep projects ever. Every bit of work completed by none other than the Zigmeister. Double AR on the crystal shows off the beautiful and perfectly re-lumed dial and hands. The watch has a correct cannon pin and crown, and of course genuine PVD coating. Enjoy!
  2. Very nice! Great job finding that wheel. Was that from the 'bay?
  3. Gen, yet incorrect for a 1680. The correct folded bracelet is a 9315 with flip-lock and dive extension
  4. It appears (at least to me) from the photos that the NDT bracelet has the thick links. The Yuki bracelet has been discussed thoroughly on the Rolex board here, and is far superior, although it still has its faults. Here's an example of a gen USA rivet that I'm selling: Keep in mind that gen 7206 rivets that are in good condition usually go for at least $1000 USD. USA rivets are less expensive, and vary in costs depending on condition, age, etc. Folded 9315's can be found on the bay. Stretched out beat up ones may be found for as low as 3 to 4 hundred USD
  5. Do a little research first. IMO, putting a T39 on your rep 7016 will literally scream fake!
  6. I have a vintage set of nicely toned genuine tritium tudor hands that will fit an ETA. I'm not planning on using these, if anyone might be interested PM me
  7. PS: Here's a pic of mine. Brand new and never used "NDTrading" dial. PM me if you'd be interested, I can save you a few bucks JJ
  8. As seen on VRF, it looks like the LV sub is done. For those of us with gen first series, it looks like prices may begin to climb
  9. The funniest thing is, I never thought I'd ever like these watches. The piece I'm thinking about is a 1675. I'll need to find a bracelet for it since it only comes with a leather strap, but it's a vintage with a "chapter ring". The wierdest thing is, it has a brown dial. Sorry no pics, but does this sound ok?

IMO, this is certainly not worth the effort for a rep. A much easier way to accomplish the same "look", would be to purchase a short length of stainless wire in the correct diameter, drill the case, cut and polish a short length of wire, and then glue it into the case. You can probably do the whole thing for five bucks. For those who want something better, buy the real thing! (or at least a Viet case)
  11. The movement is a dead give away, wrong gears, incorrect bridges, and lack of kif Also, notice the crown on the dial is incorrect Hopefully the 'bay will remove this item soon before some idiot gets ripped off
  12. Ok, this will be fun. How many clues make this a fake?
  13. Ronin, don't do it! You've got a rather rare sigma dialed datejust that appears to be in great condition. If you need a 1570 movement, I've got one I might let go

Don't forget the inside of the case needs to have a notch milled for this part to work as designed
  15. These are nice, but the watches to look for are the quartz case with mechanical movement pieces
  16. GEN 5513 inserts have glued in pearls. Check again before you [censored] off the seller
  17. I think I have a gen flat top I might be willing to sell
  18. Same thing happened at Carlisle a couple summers ago. Idiots learn nothing
