I thought that WIS was a term to indicate an incredible amount of knowledge, not pervy extracurriculars with your watches. j/k I charge my lume up and see how long it takes to fade completely.

Hell, I found out about the old RWG from a sponsoring dealer on a gen forum. HA!

Thanks, Anyone else?

Guys, I need some help. I am thinking of selling my a watch that is very special to me, as it got me started in this hobby more than 3 years ago. I am speaking of my Panerai 029 with the eta 289X that I got from Eddie Lee over 3 years ago. The watch is completely unmodded and I have it on a basic Panatime Croc-a-like leather strap with a non-branded thumbnail buckle. Has minor damage to one of the lugs, but it is minimal, and if polished, would be barely noticeable. All joking aside, what would be a reasonable price if I were to try to sell this on the forum? Thanks in advance for any advice. Bryan

I must be dense today; what do you mean? Actually, It's funny you said how many tequilas, implying impaired judgment, as I started an every other day reduced calorie diet today, and I am feeling a little lightheaded, so don't be too hard on me.

Mods, If it is a violation of forum rules to post a link to an off board dealer site, then please remove this. Please understand, I know nothing about this site, but I only buy from our dealers. I was simply out looking for better pictures of the new Ceramic Bezel Submariner rep. This is what I found: hxxp://www.maldwatch.com/Submariner-Watches/Rolex-Watches-Submariner-16610-Black-M-Series-6378.html At least I hope it's a rep, because that bezel looks like sh!+ note: replace the hxxp with http Actually, nevermind; now that I look at it, it is not the same case as Josh and Andrew are offering.

pretty sure the ssd 2 doesn't have an engraged rehaut. I had one, and I don't recall an engraving.

The lesson I've learned is this: Order one watch at a time and they usually come through customs quickly. I ordered 4 watches recently, and they sat in customs for 20 days, got opened, and I got assessed a $275.00 tas bill. Heavy packages draw attention.
-
I'd be happy if any of them are made...but I'd be thrilled if all were.

If whatever factories were to build the following watches at the same level of quality and price as the GMTIIC, would you buy them?

Mil Sub, Here is some information that is independently verifiable through research; don't know if you've seen these, but I'll bet you'd like them: 1. The false flag attack on the USS Liberty (Sure this is wikipedia, but do your own research on the contents of the last sentence of the third paragraph) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Liberty_incident 2. An award winning documentary about the history of the government secretly testing on member of the armed services and civilians: http://www.beyondtreason.com/ watch it free here: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5326824137117584395 -Bryan -

Come on dude it's not all like that; I said I wasn't firing those shots at you; just the first little bit. Unless you think you fit the bill of the worst case scenario person later in my email. I personally do not ascribe those attributes to you, because I don't know you well enough. Oh, and I'll never give up on any of my forum comrades, no matter how far gone. LOL -

Actually that's not what I am saying or hinting at. My logic is simple. Keep an open mind. My personal orientation is to not trust the government because they lie. Basing an opinion on past outcomes seems logical. I question the blind faith of those that dogmatically state that 911 was not an inside job, even though there is an enormous volume of evidence that it was, even if a large portion of it is circumstantial. Just seems like a lot of people are having a disproportionately aggressive response when presented with information that challenges their worldview, even when that information is presented dispassionately, and with verifiable proof. I am not someone that beats others over the head with my views, leanings, or suppositions, but I do openly snicker at all who put their blind faith in the state and the state run media, especially since that faith is neither healthy, nor deserved by our government or media. If a person cannot at least concede that point at least partially, then, judgments about who's more intelligent aside, I simply admit that I no longer have any common intellectual ground that with that person, and cease any attempt to help that person expand their horizons because dogmatic denial of logic, especially when confronted with verifiable evidence, is the intellectual and philosophical equivalent of sticking your fingers in your ears and yelling " LA LA LA LA LA LA LA, I can't hear you!!!" when confronted with challenging ideas. There is a word for people that display this behavior, and that word is "children," and if I want to talk to children, I have two of my own that are more intelligent and more aware than most adults. This was not meant to be directed at you, just a clarification of my stance. It's not that if one doesn't believe as I do then one is wrong, but if one denies the possibility that one is wrong about a topic to which there is no definitive answer, then that person is uninformed and illogical, and that if that person chooses to stay that way, then that person is not likely someone worth engaging in lively debate or discussion. That's all. See, it's not hard for us all to express our opinions and play nice. It depends on where you're coming from. I am coming from a position of wanting more than anything to know the truth. People that respond aggressively are usually doing so as a defense mechanism to protect the fragile construct within which they live, which is usally based on self indulgent half truths and lies to make it easier for that kind of individual to cope with the relatively bleek and often horrific nature of the truth once it is laid bare. EDITED TO ADD: actually after reading your entire response, I don't think we're disagreeing on logic or principle, just in our leanings on this particular subject matter. Again, though replying to you, please bear in mind that I used it only as a platform to clarify my viewpoint, and the bulk of my commentary is not pointed at you or your post specifically. -

AP ROO Sec's @ 12 Broke Down Poll

so we have at least a 25.93% failure rate among those participating in the poll. How does that grab everyone as a reliability index for this model? -

I have always observed a decent amount off commonality between members of this forum when it comes to off topic subject matter, even if it is a simple matter of agreeing to disagree. I am a well educated male in my mid 30's enjoying a good career and a good family life. I surround myself with people that pretty much fit that bill. Among my friends, there is some agreement and some disagreement regarding these various conspiracy theories, but in the final analysis, even the doubters in my group concede that given the preponderance of evidence, that at the very least, the story presented by the government controlled (or at least influenced) media is not the truth. I cannot believe that more people here don't feel that way, or at the very least can say, "I can see where you are coming from..." The aggression with which these ideas are attacked lead me to believe that those attacking these ideas simply cannot concede that they are valid to any degree, because the cannot or refuse to handle what that concession does to their perception of the world, and the relative degree of control they allow themselves to believe they have over their lives. Are more people not speaking up because they are embarrassed that they espouse certain beliefs, or are you afraid of being made fun of? I don't consider myself, or anyone else that doesn't by the "company line" from the U.S. government, to be crazy, especially given the long laundry list of past events that now validate our current suspicions. Well, just everyone keep an open mind, do your own research, draw your own conclusions, and don't be bullied into conforming to what you are told is an acceptable opinion. Descent is the highest form of patriotism. Bryan -

I agree; seems like the model's been out long enough for several to have bought it, there are already scattered accounts of good and bad, and The Zigmeister I believe, tentatively stated that he thought the movement should be ok, so now seems like a good time to gather all the information into one useful collection to help people decide. -
Well, it's about time, let's do this and see if the AP ROO is a good buy or a goodbye. --Bryan

Bottom line is you are a liar in print and in fact, and you have admitted as much here, and no one here, or elsewhere, that has taken the time to reasonably educate themselves on the nuances of the hobby are or will be interested in buying from you. Your practice preys on the ignorance of the uninformed consumer, and once they wrap their heads around how grossly you've overcharged them, you probably lose them anyway. If the argument were simply that you charge more due to different logistics of your operation, then I would gladly buy that line. Fact remains that your website is frought with lies. So breath and time wasted, why not just shove off? By the way, you almost had my $1,200.00 for a Rolesium Yachtmaster some years ago, right before I found the original RWG. Thanks RWG!
