  1. When you roll deep, people assume you have deep pockets.
  2. be sure you loctite those lug screws. I lost mine and then it took me 6 months to source more.
  3. I usually just drag out of bed, grab a bottle of grapseed oil out of the kitchen on my way to my custom steam sauna, which has already been running for half an hour since I installed that automatic timer last fall. I then grab my trusty gillette mach 3 turbo razor, walk up the step ladder, and after some effort suspend myself spread eagle from kevlar and vinyl "polynesian basket" suspension harness I got my wife for our 7 year anniversary. I then empty the aforementioned bottle of oil on myself from the head down, and then set about the process of Contort, Shave, Inspect, and repeat, until I am satisfied that the speed of my morning swim will not be hampered by the drag created by unwanted body hair. Before installing an array of fog-proof multi-directional mirrors this past January, this process would take hours as I had to do everything by touch; worst of all, it left my unmentionables scarred to the point that my wife was concerned I had become a "cutter" do deal with the day to day stresses of married life. Upon completing my shave, I use the built in remote on the harness to activate the truck wench my father in law helped me install in the attic last SuperBowl weekend and delicately lower myself to the floor, where I've prepared plastic drop cloth (the type you use to protect your flooring while painting), and use hand held suction cups to drag myself to my saltwater lap pool. Generally the salt water takes care of the oil, though it has begun to gum up the pool filtration system. If any of you uses this same system, or one like it to shave, I'd appreciate you sharing your tips for dealing with this particular issue. HA!...Actually, I just use the Mach 3 Turbo and Nivea 3 shower gel. Sorry for that glimpse into my demented sense of humor, but I've had 3 5-hour energies today, so I am firing on more cylinders than I actually have.
  4. The first one contains some fairly clever CGI...the second one is almost certainly completely CGI.
  5. I just waterproofed my dssd v3 with some silicone grease from the local dive shop; can't wait to try it out.
  6. Oh my gentle Jesus......which iteration is this, and how much does it cost? I need one of these; please don't say it's a gen, or I will have to cry.
  7. Family first; especially when there are kiddos. If you want a watch, set as a reward for accomplishing a financial goal, and treat yourself when you reach your goal. This hobby has inspired me to look for different ways to make money.
  8. agreed; don't reply, don't do anything. These people rely on you replying in some way for them to take any action. If you do, you are opening the door for trouble. If you do nothing, you will fall off their radar. Organizations like this don't have the manpower or budget to run down every little offender, so they send out these demand letters to capture the low hanging fruit of the people at that are ignorant to the process and therefore reply out of a sense of fear of civic duty. DON'T DO ANYTHING.
  9. no, experience has taught me not to make deals with my wife when it involves me giving up something I genuinely enjoy
  10. I know it's never advisable, but I swam in the salt water and in pools with both of my sfso's out of the box...only check was to make sure the case back was on tight.
  11. I have even used a pair of needle nose pliers and a thin cloth to avoid scratching. Just open the pliers, insert the tips of the pliers into the grooves on the case back (with the cloth between the pliers and the case back), and just unscrew.
  12. Well, if you want to give him an isotonic sports drink (regardless of why) I would recommend Coconut Water. I use Coconut water as it is the perfectly ph balanced isotonic. Best cure for a hangover, and many many times more effective then gatorade, which is trash. I buy this brand at whole foods stores http://www.vitacoco.com/
  13. Please PM me the details....I want one.
  14. I've got the V3 and love it. I will get the V4, decide which one I love more, and give the other to my little brother.
  15. this looks like huge improvement over previous iterations even of the 3 hand UPO. Not that the quality was bad, but wow, this looks awesome. Any indication as to how the threads on the crown will behave?
  16. Awesome pictoral. This is currently my only watch, rep or otherwise. I love it. I am thinking about getting a second one and having The Zigmeister fill in the bezel with blue lume for grins.
  17. what the hell is wrong with people? I have times where my kids make me crazy, but not abusive or homicidal...it defies comprehension.
  18. I am going to say "no" based on the relative "roundness" of the polished portions (fake multi links 2 and 4). If you look at a pic of the gen, they are completely flat and very sharply defined. -B
  19. go for the V3, I have it and it is soooooooo good.
  20. That's the first brand in a long time that's caught my eye.
  21. it's a no brainer. The Ingy is a staple in any respectable collection, and is far and away better quality than the VCO
  22. I don't have calipers or even a ruler, but just eyeballing it against the GMTIIC, I'd have to say it's probably 22.
  23. What do you guys think? Will Tag ever make a larger version of the kirium? If they did would you buy it? or the rep of it? If they did some style updates to make it larger and more rugged, it would at least show up on my radar. Just food for thought. Bryan
