  1. I dunno M....sounds a little cheezy to me!
  2. Just back from our Jmb
  3. 1171 is 212$ and endlinks are 36$ at Ofrei right now, they have gone up alot in the last couple months. I bought one of mine for around 120$ on eBay recently.
  4. The 1171 Omega bracelet is the most popular and can be bought from either cousinsuk or ofrei nos. Omega 1171's can also be found on eBay and many gen boards used. These bracelets use Omega 633 endlinks(also nos) Before I scored a couple 1171's I tried the suppa mesh, very nice looking and wearing but too flashy for everyday for me. I also tried several Nato's and even a rep speedy bracelet. But for looks and feel the gen 1171 for me. Omega 1171 Suppa mesh Rep speedy
  5. I have the opposite problem as OP....many bracelets are too big for me, even with all removable links out. That is why so far I've shy'd away from the folded link..even though I really like the classic look of them
  6. I hadn't thought of the non open lug 2 mm bars, but a good fix. But if your going to have the bracelet drilled..might as well do the whole thing and have your lugholes drilled.. and changing to 2 mm bars. This is mine
  7. Yeah...no kidding! J, that is an awesome watch you put together!
  8. The Watchmaterial pearl is the closest to the gen pearl out there that I know of. The only way to get a better one... is to buy a gen insert with gen pearl...and that will cost you 70-150$
  9. I can hook you up with the "Vick" (as we call him) if you tell us what LHOOQ means!
  10. I have had good luck with ebay seller jewelerstools, all of the 703's I have bought from him have indeed had the crimp marks.

    1675 built

What exact WSO bezel set fits the josh 1655 1:1 case? I think I will build this.. and I want to make sure of the parts and cartel rep I buy are correct for this project. I didn't realize the cartel explorer II was the case you guys were using.

    1675

    Great 1675's!
  13. Sorry I do not have a pic of the tube alone. The crown is a gen 703 rolex with gen tube. Agreed, no date = less to go wrong I guess.
  14. I work in the dog industry This was also my player name.... a decade ago for Quake II That's all I got..........lol
  15. Yes they went up to 118$ Tropic 39 fits fine. I didn't do anything to my cg's. They are in fact stubby... but it doesn't bother me too much. Lugholes opened/2mm bars, gen crown/tube......work done by Jmb. Really like this watch, runs like a top.. and I wear it alot.
  16. That, gentleman......was awesome!

    Pam noob

Hey thanks for the replys and ideas guys, now I have some watches to look at. I'll look into the models suggested. Maybe my perspective is wrong on the size. Right now my 40mm subs feel right, my PO at 42 feels a little big but after I've had it on an hour I'm fine with it. My 35mm rolex precision gen feels tiny and I rarely wear it anymore. I think my wrists are 6 1/2". Usually when I see a Pam in the wild... even on a big guy they can look big, but I know some of these go 50mm? I'm going to start reading this area alot and maybe pick up a cheaper one to try. Thanks again!
  18. ahh...c'mon.. .. there's no one here but us..!
  19. Wow! Thanks Ubi! That looks really good. I know what Yuki and DW cases cost and I'm gonna guess Phong's are 1000? So a guy with gen movement and Phong case would be at least 2000. Double that and you have a nice gen that holds value. I really wish there were case sets out there without so many flaws that can't be fixed..for an affordable price.
  20. Has anyone here bought a Phong case?
