  1. Yes, I know This is the best I can do without daylight on my phone. left V2 and right V3
  2. I have V3 janeto, I just checked and I have the two word "Swiss Made" and code "Pj4", just the the one in TC's opening post of this thread. Also my sel fit is different, in fact when I got home and messing with the new watch..one side of the bracelet pulled free..the sel's springbar wasn't fully seated. I played around with it and finally got it locked in. It's an incredibly close fit.
  3. I like the way you think! That's a bangin idea
  4. Major disappoint for me I raced home from work.. pilfered through stuff and grabbed the insert box. The gen insert I had stashed... is either a SeaDweller or 14060 insert and too small. grrrrrr! Had I known this ahead of time I would have made sure I had one here when this watch arrived. I don't even have a rep 16610 insert..if I had one of those I could temporarily add a wm pearl and hold myself over till a gen gets here. lol Anyone in Dallas have a nice 16610 genuine insert they can sell this weekend? By the way I checked the bracelet against my V2's...V3 is whole level better! it's really nice, even the screw heads and ends are nice. I can definately see this manufacturer making gen bracelets for gen watches. The quality is very good. I hope one day we can steer TC into vintage Rolex. He could probably source cases and bracelets we would die for.
  5. That's beatiful asf..had not seen this one
  6. I emailed Clark earlier today. He doesn't show the sub bezel set for sale. The Clark is around 50$, Phong is 350$ and I know where I can get a gen full bezel set including insert for 450$. Decisions.....lol
  7. Both my 5512 and 1665 watches have gen inserts and are both MBW. The gen inserts just snapped right in. No glue needed.
  8. According to the other thread, Clark's sub bezel set fits the TC sub and a gen insert snaps right in.
  9. All I know is I wanna get out of work, go home and slap a gen insert in it.
  10. That's what I thought. I'm at work, just got the package and I don't have v2 here to compare. I doubt he swapped clasps. The sels fit. Swiss Made is two words, as its supposed to be...I'm thinking it's v3.
  11. Oh wait... Here's the sel fit..perfect for me And it's V3 with the proper two word Swiss Made?
  12. Yes watcher! It was you!
  13. It's v2. I got a TC sub today also with a lv2.....but he's sending me a couple v3's this week.
  14. Lol....I didn't want to say anything
  15. Interesting, I thought the MBW bezel was pretty good. Pretty sure if you swap in a gen you will need to use a gen retaining ring. I had a Phong bezel but couldn't tell much difference between it and the MBW.
  16. Hi Joey, thanks for the reply..but I'm still confused. You are using the Clark submariner bezel for the sapphire Explorer/Gmt conversion?
  17. 702 fat tube
  18. Ephry, My SSD is drilled and has lugholes. TC's seadweller bracelet dropped right into place with vintage 2mm bars.
  19. There's a nice MBW 1680 in the sales forums just listed today
  20. Yes it has a two piece rehaut. Someone here posted a pictorial of disassembly of this watch. They were trying to fit a gen crystal. It didn't work out and they ended up glueing the gen crystal in. This was 3 or 4 months ago and I'm sorry but I can't remember who it was or give you a link. Maybe others will remember.
  21. I bought the Clark GMT bezel to turn a cartel explorer into a GMT. The cartel explorer has gen bezel construction to make us possible. Why are you guys interested in the Clark sub bezel? Are you hoping it's better than the ones that come on the TC or Wm9 subs?
  22. They say you'll go blind! To that I say...let's just do it till we need glasses
  23. After reading all these stories I can only conclude that people that get called out have got to be in few groups. Teenagers, High Schoolers wearing a rep and being chided by their peers...possibly even college. Or being young and wearing affordable clothes, driving a compact car etc..wearing a watch beyond their means. Or..people that hang out with incredibly rude assholes. Im at an age that I can afford most of the watches I wear. I've yet to be "called out" I don't think or worry about it. Sometimes I have a client/ customer in my shop ask what kind of watch that is...and I usually tell them it's a hobby and the watch is a frankin assembled with parts. The guys that ask me are usually watch guys, and often this leads to an interesting conversation. I've yet to get a bad reaction or be frowned at. I just think this is all relative to your age, what you drive and wear..and who you associate with.
  24. If you shake it more than twice ... your playing with it
  25. Nice score sardonix. I've been watching VRM for months and not found a great deal. Tudor clasp or not ...they all seem to be 1000$ I'll keep at it, sooner or later I'll find one I like. Yours just makes your watch so much nicer
