It was about three or four months ago, here on rwg. He did a complete teardown with photo's.
He showed the two piece rehaut. Sorry, I can't remember who it was and I don't know about waterproof. As I said, no good solutions for a crystal swap that I know of.
Are you saying Ofrei sells sapphire cap pearls for modern subs?
I have purchased several acrylic pearls for vintage subs from Ofrei, but I have never seen modern pearls.
Link?
I probably should have bought a watchco..after I total the money I put into my franken.
I will bet I have that much into mine....and mines all gen but the midcase. I got into the 300 too late, just as prices for the parts were climbing.
Those case sets used to be around 500$. when I started mine they went to 850$ and now they are 1000$. Timing can be everything
Still, I love my watch..the vintage Omega sm300 is still one of the classiest and iconic watches of all time.

Toward the bottom of the page are the 39mm models

They make this watch a notch smaller at 39mm. I don't know the model number but it's on Josh's site.
Someone sold a used one last year on here I almost bought.
One thing about the watch I'm talking about is its not going to be a new updated version like they keep updating the more common 3717. It may not be as accurate as the 3717.
I love your lume HD! The deep blue just rocks!
Always loved the Plop too...I just wish they had made a version smaller.
Biggest watch I can wear is 42-43mm but prefer 36-40mm. I've never tried one of those in person but I'll bet the lugs would be able to see each other on the backside of my wrist
The one I had in my picture above did not have the gap at all like yours does.
If that was mine, I would try a few different bracelets on it. Just tolerances off from unit to unit in the rep world.
I tried all sorts of bleaches and got nowhere.
I discovered generic Drano drain cleaner works well. It can be diluted with water.
Also keep in mind that each insert react differently, for instance an MBW insert will change slower than a cartel.
You gotta keep your eye on them and pull and rinse and repeat till you get the desired effect.
